Going back to your AK tribal dance.....I KNOW I was sitting there right before you got your groove on....:sad2:
Love your Amazing Race and that you had an uber accommodating CM rush you to your destination!! Hmmmmm Narcosse's looks really good.....I have heard such mixed reviews on the place and honestly MEK's fish picture scarred me for life! :rolleyes1 Your calamari was presented so nicely...was that gardenia on top...green olives and stuff? I almost booked a reservation for October here and will have to see if I have anything I want to ditch or move around :confused3
Your Yankees pictures were spectacular! I will have to show them to my boss....huge fan and goes several times a year...and he scoffs at me when I Dis at work :snooty:

That is incredible!!! I did the 5K in Westfield last week and I thought I was going to collapse! I can't even imagine......

Go Paul!!! :cheer2:

This past Thursday I had the opportunity to go on RCI's Oasis of the Seas for a ship inspection. My friend, Marilyn, is a travel agent, and she invited me along because I am thinking we may go on this ship next August on a 9 day cruise to Bermuda and the eastern caribbean. It is conveniently docked in NJ, so the allure of driving 30 minutes to Bayonne and starting our vacation and then 10 days later getting off the ship and home in an hour without any airfare to worry about is REALLY enticing!!! By the way, I don't know if anyone has seen on the Pete Werner's predictions, but he is saying the Dream will eventually be docked in NYC....from his lips to God's ears!! You KNOW I'm rooting for THAT to happen!!! Anyway, the sales rep took us on a tour of the ship, and we got to see all the suites, which was really cool! Here are my pics-

First, the Royal Suite- this is the largest, only one on the ship-

salad-

IMG_7500.jpg

I had steak, it was a little tough but flavorful-

IMG_7502.jpg

Marilyn had a musroom fettucini- very good-

IMG_7505.jpg

We had lunch with the wrestlers- one of them was the World Heavyweight Champ, "The Reinforcer" Andrew Anderson. Look for him in upcoming movies(the Howling 2?) and m&M and skittles commercials-

IMG_7506.jpg

When we were walking on the tour, I said to Marilyn, these guys are pro-wrestlers. And he says, "I'm the world Heavyweight Champ" to which I patted him on his arm like he was 10 and said, "that's nice honey- good for you!" :rotfl2: Anyway...he did autograph glossies for us- I took the one of him coated in blood because I have 3 boys. :rotfl: This is the other wrestler, his name was Rocky-

IMG_7508.jpg

Anyway, they were both nice guys- I made them promise to pull my kids out into the ring if they see me on their cruise- which they most likely WON'T, since I want to do the 9 night (it's not much more $$ than the 5 day, so may as well!). Anyhoo- we walked around with our wine for a while before getting tossed off so they could sail away. Sheesh! I'll tell ya, I was VERY jealous talking with the passengers who had just gotten onboard and were starting their vacations!! I want to go!!! It does mean Pods & I won't go to F&W next year, but that's ok- we'll still all go to WDW for NJ week with our kids!! Anyway, it was a really fun afternoon, and I am sooo happy Marilyn invited me to go!! AWESOME!!

Sounds like a good meal at Narcoossee's...minus the server.:rotfl:

Too bad....we had probably our best server ever at Narcoossees around the same time that you guys were there. If you had gotten him, I guarantee your whole experience would have been so much better!

Funny about the "commotion" at the other table about the meals/cheques...wonder what that was about.:confused3

Can't wait to hear about your meet up with MEK and manntra.:goodvibes

Ellen and Joan -

Great updates. So much to comment on.

First - I have to apologize to Tracy for ruining her desire to ever eat at Narcoossee's.

Your food all looks amazing. I loved the Mickey embellishment in the lobster bisque. That is so cute. The calamri looks great and all the entree look good, too. And that chocolate martini - YUM!

Great timing for the electric light parade and Wishes. I actually like the pictures cause they all have a surreal look.

Lastly, the cruise ship looks AMAZING! Those suites are SWEET! I want to go on that cruise after seeing that boat! Sounds like you had a great time. Your pictures turned out really, really good. That second wrestler is cute! ;)

By the way, I don't know if anyone has seen on the Pete Werner's predictions, but he is saying the Dream will eventually be docked in NYC....from his lips to God's ears!!

I'm a few weeks behind on the podcast, so I hadn't heard that yet. That would be so amazing! The airfare to get to FL is a decent chunk of change for 5 people, as you kinow!

:banana:Yay Paul....can't wait to celebrate his victory on Tuesday!!! Such commitment!:worship:

Great pics of the ship! Makes me want to go. Hmmm I'm starting a job and it is just a short drive. :rolleyes1 Oh but wait then the Dream might be coming to NYC. What to do, what to do. Of course I'm just dreamin' atm.

Here are a few pics of the new house. It's taken some time but we are pretty well settled in now. In fact, I spent all weekend painting the breakfast room, kitchen, and keeping room. It's a deep gold color - very pretty!

WOW!!! Beeeeeeauuuuutiful house Kara!! I could never dream of living in a house that looks like that! I absolutely love the dark wood and your furniture. And I especially love Full House on in the background! :lmao:

Great photos from Narcossee's. Makes me feel a little better about our reservation there! ;)

And OH MY GOD - that house IS beautiful!

BTW - I hope Paul was able to finish his races!

Yeah and now I am caught up again - maybe I should not go to sleep at all in order to keep up with all the trip reports I am subscribed to! :rotfl2:

Cracks me up that EVERYONE comments on Full HOuse in the background! :rotfl2:

And thank you! Remember, I didn't even see it until after we had closed and the truck had unloaded all our things. A bit nerve wracking pulling into the driveway for the first time knowing this was my house and there was no turning back!
