How I Survived 11 Days at WDW with a Disney-Resistant Husband **2/20 THE END **

loving your TR! You take amazing pictures.

Thank you!:goodvibes

My goodness, I go away for a few days, and so much changes!

Love the new TR title, and I'll think happy thoughts for your trip in October, 2011! Hhmmm, that sounds like a nice time to go I think - might have to work on my own DH for that ;)

Yes...I think October 2011 is going to be THE time to be in WDW!;)

I really am enjoying your TR!! :)

Thanks so much!:goodvibes

What great nephews you have! I too love that picture of them holding hands with your kids :goodvibes

It looks like detesting photographs runs in the family, Chris's sister doesn't look too thrilled to be having her picture taken in either of the two you posted containing her. I think their mother definitely should have pulled out the camera more often when they were children!

Breakfast sounds like it was one of the high points! I'm looking forward to hearing about your day at the beach.

Ha, ha! You are bag on the money Michelle! I don't know who is worse for pictures - Chris or his sister. It definitely runs in the family! However, their mother is very good natured and game for anything - including photos!:)

HI I'm loving your trip report!!
My DH hates Disney. Why? Because he introduced me to Disney World in 1994 as our 1st vacation as man and wife. We did not go their on our Honeymoon as I wanted. I believe this is due to the fact that DH realized earlier in our relationship that once I met "The Mouse" their would be no other mouse but him.

We moved to FL to be closer to the mouse. I give the excuse of relocation but me and the mouse know the real reason.
Anyhow, now DH will come along w/a look of dispair on his face when I tell him I bought tickets come if you want to. He always seems to want to :confused3?
Can't wait to read the next chapter.

What is it with these husbands anyway? :rotfl:

We are going back next October too! :cool1:

So glad that your nephews were good sports about the Princess breakfast! They seem like great kids!

Yay! Another October tripper! I would love to run into some Disers when I am down there!:goodvibes

I hit enter too early!! :rotfl:
First off I am sorry for your loss. Your aunt in law seemed like a lovely lady.

Your parties are FABULOUS!! Move over Martha! Not too mention you have affordable kiddies too!

And yea on a trip in the planning!! Leave Chris at home!!!! go enjoy your self and show that family all the magic that is Disney:wizard:

Good for you for running again. I am currently training for a 10K and then I start training for the Disney 1/2 in January!!

Can't wait to read more. :thumbsup2 but then again I really don't want to hear the ugly. I may have to fly up there and kick some Disney resister booty!

:rotfl: too funny!

Don't say I didn't warn about the Ugly. It's coming. Get out now if you don't have the stomach for it.:rotfl:

I have a question about all the princess pictures. Do your kids realize it's not the same one each time? It obviously can't be the same Cinderella at every character meal. Just wondering if anyones kids have noticed that.

Has anyone been watching Regis & Kelly this week?

I felt like I was back in university tonite. Either that or home sick because I did something tonite that I never get to do on a regular day.

I just spent the last 1 1/2 hours watching Tivo'd episodes of Regis & Kelly. They are filming on location this week from Prince Edward Island, Canada, just one province over from where I live. They are filming in PEI until Thursday.

I hope they show more of the Island as it is a really fantastic place. I am not from there, but it is one of my most favourite places to visit in all of North America. It is so pretty, and really special and unique from any other place.

One of my main complaints about the Canada 360 film at the Canadian Pavillion in Epcot is that it really short-changes Atlantic Canada, (where I live), and Prince Edward Island in particular.

PEI has been incredibly popular worldwide for years, especially with Japanese tourists as a result of the Anne of Green Gables series. And yet, there is precious little footage of PEI in the film.:sad2:

Anyway, if you ever get a chance to visit there, you should. But make it a summer visit. And check out Regis & Kelly Wednesday and Thursday of this week if you can!;)

I don't know about other kids, but my kids have never asked, and I certainly don't bring it up. Kinda like Santa!;)

Which convention did you attend at BCV? DW went to a convection at CSR in 2008.

My roomie in college had a summer house on PEI. I really enjoyed visiting a couple of times over the summer-- it's just beautiful. Gorgeous beaches + scenery!

Wives of Disney-Resisters unite. Just kidding! It was a legal conference.

:lmao::lmao: That's funny.

You can write a book on how to convert your husband from a Disney resister to Super DH. It might be a bestseller. :lmao::lmao: :rotfl::rotfl:

Yes, but this would imply that I know the answer. Sadly I don't. But if you ever hear of such a book, I am buying!;)

Will do about the book. :rotfl:

I read that you all are suppose to take a trip with some friends. Maybe, DH might have a great trip being that you all are with them. DH seemed to like BCV according to your recent post. He may be happy staying there again.

The recent pictures you posted are great! :thumbsup2

Thanks! And yes, I think having friends around will cause everyone to be on their best behaviour!;)

I have to agree with you on the maritimes being shortchanged in the film....Manitoba and Saskatchewan are pretty much left out too!! I was born in New Brunswick, left when I was 2 (my dad was in the military) and now we're in Manitoba....I wish they had included all provinces and territories in the movie!!

I don't know if I have the stomach for the next update!:scared1: You are breaking my heart with your stories of your "resistant" husband. :sad2: Thankfully, my DH is not obsessed like I am (go figure!) but he always LOVES it when we are there!:thumbsup2 I wish I had gone with you. I would have, not only gone along with all your plans, I would have loved and appreciated them!

I just caught up on your TR and I am so happy for you that you have another Disney trip on the horizon! Hopefully going on a trip with friends will make it better this time around. You tend to be on better behavior around friends versus family. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Love the photo of the kids with the cousins (the photo of their backs holding hands). it was so sweet.

I totally want to visit PEI one day. your psot made me laugh because it is totally because of the Anne of Green Gable series. I loved watching the series when I was growing up. While I may not be Japanese, looks like I'll fit in - maybe it's an asian thing? :rotfl: I keep trying to convince my husband to take one of the cruises that go from New England to Nova Scotia and PEI.

I adore PEI! I love Canada actually but especially the maritimes.
My mom and I took a trip to PEI in 2000 after dreaming about it my whole life (because of Anne of Green Gables)
It was amazing and so beautiful. We also visited Nova Scotia during that trip.

Then two years later my parents and I went on a month long road trip across the US from Utah up through New England and into New Brunswick, over to Nova Scotia, up to PEI again, then back through New Brunswick traveling all the way across Canada and over to Victoria Island before going back down to Utah. It was amazing. I fell in love with all of Canada on that trip. It really does have the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen with the maritimes and the Canadian Rockies.

I agree, let's start a movement and get that changed! Too much Ontario and BC, show us the rest!
