Good Morning

Good to see you Lindsey, Austin is beautiful

TGIF, but I'm not looking forward to today, the AC in my office is out and it is HOT in there, the repairman was there yesterday when I left but he was looking for parts so I bet it's not fixed yet.

Knock, knock, knock, (on wood), I've had three good days in a row with my shoulder, not pain free, but better so I'll take it.

Oil has made it's way onto our beaches here and it's horrible, we had tar mats the sir of school busses. :sad2:

home. We have missed you. Austin is precious. The other day when we were discussing the F&W Festival both Kathrin and Kristin actually asked me if we had heard anything lately from you.

Debbie - I am glad you have had a few days of improvement with your shoulder. :yay:

but I am sad to hear that you might possibly have no AC at work. That is awful. As for your oil I am devastated and angered beyond words. :grouphug:

Good morning, DDA! It's "only" 73 outside right now, but the bedroom is still at 81 which wasn't particularly conducive to sleeping. It's not going to be quite so hot today and finally supposed to cool down for tomorrow. I love summer, but this is getting to be a bit much.

Lu and I are home for the day. She woke me up at midnight with the "seal" cough and not being able to catch her breath. After about 3 hours of getting her settled back in and listening to her breathe I finally fell back asleep for about an hour. Needless to say, work lost out!

I don't know where the last almost 10 months have gone, but I've given up trying to get "caught up" on real life before I let myself back on the DIS! (I've come to the realization that will never happen! ) Plus, we FINALLY have some Disney trips coming up - I've got to refresh myself!

I have missed each of you, and have thought of you all very, very often. I love seeing so many new little DDA'ers joining us, too. A big congrats to Jennifer, Tia, Kristine, and to Terri! Well, I've got bananas crying out to be made into banana bread. With the way everyone plows through bananas around here (seriously, I can by 10 bananas and they are gone in less than 2 days) that hasn't happened very often lately so I'm going to take advantage. Off to pull out Vicki's recipe and get baking!

Today is Katie's 13th birthday. I can't believe that I have a teenager! Alan and I are taking her out to lunch today, and tonight she'll have a pizza party with some friends.

Well, 3 1/2 hours, a side trip to the grocery store, three lunches made and Phil run to work and I am finally stating to smell my banana bread. Glad I wasn't waiting to have it for breakfast. (Or lunch for that matter.)

I've spent the day on trip prep. I dug out our GPS and put all important addresses in it, made sure that I have copies of all reservations etc. I've made lists of what is in each suitcase and a list of what still needs to be packed. I'm trying to start cleaning rooms and packing misc stuff that I come across. I'm encouraging the boys to get their personal items together, get things charges, pins out etc, but so far they haven't done anything. I have a feeling they are not going to be very happy with me by the end of the weekend.
