We are going to DTD for a night in October, just 2 adults, my husband and I. We are 27 and 28. We love adventurous food, and know absolutely nothing about DTD!!! (Our first time is Disney World! :yay::yay::yay:)

Which restaurant is the best here?? We are NOT on the dining plan, and cost is not a factor here. We love anything, Seafood, Steak, Italian, Sushi, you name it! I also noticed there are 2 menus for Wolfgang Pucks, one for the "cafe" and one for the "dining room upstairs". What is the difference for those of you that know??? :thanks:

The pizzas at Wolfgang Puck Express are good. As are the sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich. Raglan Road has great atmosphere and drinks, but other than the appetizer scallops and the shepard's pie, the food's not great, in our opinion.

We always go to Raglan Road and House of Blues and have never had a bad meal at either. I voted for HoB just because they do the best ribs in all of Disney, and I'm a rib fiend!!!

I can't say which is the best, that is opinion, but I can say if you are not on the dining plan, I would skip Wolfgang Puck Cafe. (the restaurant, not express which is very good) It is overpriced and the food is good, but not worth the price and lack of service in my opinion.

My whole family LOVES Planet Hollywood. We usually eat most of our meals there. The Steaks and ribs (full rack) are absolutely fantastic.

We have also tried Wolfgang Pucks and hated it. We now refer to it as Wolfgang Pukes.

Good luck with your decision. :)

I know you are probably looking for a table service restaurant, but I still recommend Wolfgang Puck Express. It's considered counter service, but the food quality rivals just about anything else in Downtown Disney. If I had one meal to eat there, I would choose Wolfgang Puck Express.

I voted Wolf Gang Puck express! It is FABULOUS! I love the mac and cheese dish and the barbecue chicken pizza!

Wolfgang Puck Express for either chicken or pizza! Even for picky eaters this place is great!

OK here we go. I voted for Fulton Crab House here. We went on our honeymoon and to be honest with you everything from the service to the food n everything in between was awesome. With that being said this would've been my second choice had you included our favorite restaurant which is Bongos. Now I know people have said they didn't like it but that goes forany restaurant no matter how good or bad.
Bongos if you're not aware already is a Cuban restaurant. IMHO authentic Cuban/Puerto rican cuisine excellent service great atmosphere. Just a little different than what people are looking for. The live band playing also sets the mood. May I suggest if its nice out that night try requesting a seat outdoors overlooking the water even more ambience. Good luck in whichever u choose. Honestly its Disney. Nothing is bad no matta what. LOL

Wolfgang Puck!! Plus everything is localy grown so I don't feel like I'm eating frozen chicken nuggets from a factory...

Thanks for the tip about Bongo's! I didn't even know about that place! After you mentioned it it does come up on the disney website and looks very interesting!

It also looks like many people that voted for Wolfgang Pucks means the "express" version which is surprising to me! But VERY good to know! We do kind of want a sit down place but it is something to consider.

Sorry to be the dissenter here but we loved WPC so much so that we ate there 3 times last Sept. Lunch and dinner. We also rec. Raglan Road.

Here's just a sampling of what we ate on DDP at WPC last time.

Funny how some don't like WPC but love WPE (we do as well) when the food is from the same kitchen. Here's a good example.

Adult ravioli with added meatballs. (inc on DDP)

WDW09488-1.jpg

Sushi Sampler (allowed as entree on DDP)

Some of our desserts.

And not to leave RR out, here's my favorite entree there, Not Bleedin' Chowder

And the best dessert ever! Ger's Bread 'n Butter Pudding.

Only thing I don't care for at RR is the Irish Bread. Keep trying it but keep not liking it!

HTH.

It really depends on the atmosphere that you are looking for. I voted for Wolfgang Pucks. They have 3 levels of service. Quick service is just pizzas and such, the 1st floor is a sit down type great steak. If you are willing to splurge go for the Dining room @ Wolfgangs on the top floor. The food is spectacular and changes with the seasons and the view is amazing. Requst a table by the windows facing the water.
If you are looking for a more lively atmosphere, Raglan Road is a hip pub with some pretty decent food.
Fultons has really fresh seafood and are really good but for that money I still prefer WPs.

Have a good time!

Oh my gosh those pictures are amazing! :worship: Now this decision is even harder, I LOVE sushi, and I didn't know that Wolfgang Puck's had it! That dessert from Raglan Road also looks AMAZING!!!!!! I really wanted to hear about that Paradiso 37 especially because the menu looks really good, But it seems like not many people have tried it yet.

We tried Raglan Road on a whim on our last trip and it was one of our best meals. The harp and cheese soup was delicious (even better than Le Celier) and my "chicken jus" entree was so good that I made a reservation to return there in October to order it again!

Tough call. We do not like Wolfgang Puck's Cafe, thought the sushi was just okay. The Upstairs is nicer but for the price, we were disappointed.

I would go with either Fultons or Ragland Road.
