Owen's Birthday is on July 27th!! We will be on the cape for our summer vacation and everyone is coming up for his birthday. My MIL is making him a Toy Story Cake - she ordered something for the cake online and hmm now you got me thinking.... I think I will make those Alien Cupcakes... They were really easy and cute! We are keeping it simple and will just order from "Pizza Planet"

First, I need to say I am so sorry to be MIA lately; I have been trying to catch up on PTR/TR's but have not been doing to good in that department either...we have been busy trying to keep Ashton and the girls I watch busy since it has been so rainy around here/it gets to be so boring stuck in the house...when I do get a chance to dis I have been reading other PTR/TR's I was catching up two a day; but, I'm behind on those again too. I'll catch up soon, but let me continue with my TR for now.

We were going to do "Pizza Planet" too! I think I am going to have a small celebration one day when I have the two girls...one bday is July 15, another on the 19 and than Ashton on the 21st...so, one day we are going to have pizza planet and cupcakes along with a Toy Story double feature

I left off we were still on day 3. We had started our day with breakfast at the POP!, we rode a bus to MK and hopped on the monorail to Epcot for our first adventure of the day. We visited Universe of Energy, & Land of Imiganation with everyone! than we visited Nemo and friends, had rode Living with the Land twice, ate lunch at the Land, finally rode Soarin'. From there we strolled around the World, visiting Mexico, Norway, and the Germany train garden...Ashton met Aladdin and Jasimine; and, we were able to enjoy the beautiful flower and plant displays the F & G festival had to offer!

After a beautiful day spent at Epcot I decided I wanted to find the Friendship boat to DHS! (I had learned about it from the dis and could not wait for another mode of transportation! I knew Ashton would love the ride...and I loved the ride among the resorts we passed along the way!

I'm not sure about the time but it had to be around 5:30-6:00 pm. We made it to the boat launch and the boat had just left so we decided to stroll around the gift shop, while Danny had a smoke break and Daddy took a break sitting under the shade trees. After, about a 15 min break we decided it was best to go stand in line and the next boat showed up about 10 min later.

EDIT! EDIT! I just noticed this picture must be from the first time we went to DHS for the EMH night...just noticed our shirts are different
this was one of Dad's pictures...sorry I'll leave it in since we are visiting DHS...

we had decided our best plan of action was to go on and see how the line was shaping up for Fantasmic and hopefully find something to snack on...
as we were walking up they had just dropped the rope to start letting people in for seating. Well, we were able to join mom and dad in the wheelchair parking section. So, we were very lucky not to have to fight the crowd. What amazed me is how people do not listen to what the CM's are saying at all! I felt so sorry for the CM's; I could NOT do that job! So, after we were seated Danny went in search of some snacks...he returned with two boxes of stale popcorn, and two hot fudge brownie sundaes (they were sooooo good!). Not, long before the show Dayne & Luke found us. (Gwendolyn and Joe did not join us...Joe was laid up in the room not feeling well-I believe he was running fever and a sore throat).

it was GREAT!!! this is my favorite fireworks show...I love to see the characters and the theme of the show.

From here we left DHS and headed back to POP! Dayne and Luke decided to close the park and ride ToT and RnR...
when we arrived at Classic Hall we all decided we were kinda of hungry so...mom & dad had a tuna sandwich, Danny, Ashton, and I shared a hamburger plate (or should I say Danny and I shared a hamburger and Ashton had some fries for a very late dinner) I think when had gotten a small pepperoni pizza to share too! From there we headed to our rooms for showers and a good nights rest.

next up...would we be able to finish seeing Epcot and DHS on our last day ...

Glad to see that the park hopping is working out for you guys. We used to buy park hoppers but decided to put the extra money towards the dining plan.

Your boat ride from Epcot to Hollywood Studios looks so nice and calm. Very cool that you got to see other resorts while on the boat.

Fantasmic is MY favorite show too...I just love it. I knew about he "friendship boat" but we've never taken it. I would not live without my park hoppers--especially on short trips (we're going to be getting a lot of use out of ours in September).

We didn't know about the friendship boat. Looks very nice! The day we went to DHS they didn't have fantasmic so we didn't make to see that one. I guess we'll just have to go back

OFF TOPIC:
Gwendolyn and Joe have added a member to our family this weekend...
a friend of Gwendolyn's had this beautiful three year old German Shepard and she just go a new puppy and the dogs do not get along. So, instead of returning the puppy she told Gwendolyn she was bringing Mia to the pound...so, after we did enough arguing over my not wanting another dog or any other pet in the house. Danny and I, of course, gave in and we have a new member of the family living with us. She is having a hard time adjusting to the new surroundings (she lived inside and now she is in the garage with the other dogs) but, she is beautiful and hopefully she will adjust to her new family soon.

On another note, Joe has decided he is not building their house at this time...so, the big meanies that Danny and I have become have told them they cannot live here (together) any longer...so, we (they) are looking for a mobile home to put on his property while they build in the next two years. I told them they did not have to be out tomorrow but with in the next three months would be nice... They plan to get married after she graduates next May so looks like I'll be planning a wedding soon enough...their new plan of action is to pay off the property in the next two years and than start the house which will be theirs at that time (which makes me feel better for Gwendolyn's future)

I'll have to remember to share a picture of Mia sometime this week...she really is a beautiful baby!

Great update Connie! We love taking the boat to DHS too, it's fun to get a glimpse at all the Epcot resorts! FUN you got to see Fantasmic! We missed it again this time, I thought it may be too intense for Helen yet but it's a MUST DO on our next trip!! I love the character window pics with the reflections, it's a neat perspective!! Congrats on getting Mia, I am sure she will adjust to her new buddies soon!!!!
