Oh those are beautiful! My dd said to tell you the rainbow ones are the pretiest ones ever.

Do you have a picture of the back of the dress. I just bought both of my girls that dress to tie-dye. I like how you did 4 different Mickey heads. I am trying to figure out where to start the spiral and how the back looks.

Thank you!

Ok, I'm having a hard time finding a plain white girls shirt in size 3T. shirt dress whatever. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Yes, its kind of late. The T's are hot during the Spring Months. You can try Baby's R US, Target, Wal Mart. I saw the muscle ones for Toddlers in Wal Mart.

Just make sure they are 100% cotton.

Check the little boys shirts in walmart -- they are $3 a piece and would work for a girl

I finally got a good turnout with latest shirts I did - yay! I used the Tulip but only filled the bottles 1/2 full which made a huge difference in the color. The shirts look super awesome. I will post pictures but it will be after I get all the shirts finished. My Mickey heads turned out great but I used alot of rubberbands to make sure I had alot of white.

Yeah! I finally got through the ENTIRE post! :woohoo: Anyway, I have one question. Have you ever bought any of the clothing on Dharma? Just looking through, they seem like they have a good selection, but I was a little nervous b/c I wasn't sure of the quality/thickness.

Help, please. So yesterday I spent all afternoon trying to find a Mickey template. I went on google and photobucket and could not find one.

I did however find Mickey wall stickers and Mickey waffle makers and all sorts of other things but no template. My dh finds this very funny "it is just 3 circles, just freehand it."

Could someone please email me the Mickey head template? Pretty Please. :goodvibes

Try Hanes.com if you have time to order, they're very inexpensive

Target and The Childrens Place have plain white t's for girls, I haven't checked boys. I ordered onesies in 24mos from amazon.com after not finding it in the store.

FINALLY dyeing our shirts today but have a few questions...

How tight does the floss need to be pulled? I've broken it several times, and when banding it I don't know what to do with the space between mickeys ears, leave tucked in?

I've read instructions that have the shirt both banded and unbanded when going into the soda ash, what's the best way?

When sectioning the "pie" and dying what will make a rainbow design? I'm thinking fuschia, fushica + yellow, yellow, yellow + blue, blue does that sound right?

Thx!

I'd never used floss so I don't know how does it work with the fabric :confused3

It doesn't matter, as long as the they get soaked.

You can put the colors the way you want it, since it makes a circle it doesn't matter, but if you want to follow a pattern then you can do it the way you want the colors to follow each other.

I used wax floss and it has never broke on me and I pull it really tight, the space between the ears should go under the rubberband.
