Have a super vacation Blue !!! Your Slow cooker roast soubnds GOOD!!!I am so busy still with all the happenings the last couple of weeks !!Judy is doing okay , she is in pain and tired but is up and about and of course doing more than she should !!! She plans to go back to work on Monday .. too soon I think but Miss Stubborn wont listen so I tape my mouth shut

I am super excited about October and my freee trip !! I don't get a salary but my airfare, resort, park tickets and food and tips are free !! We also get money for any extras that we need !! The Director we deal with hadn't heard of Garden Grocer or PhotoPass !!! I plan on using GG for breakfast stuff that's perishable and mail down cereal and some park snax !! I am planning out the days , have to be quite leisurely as not sure how much walking they can do!! Will be posting on my TR about it too !!

So glad to hear that Judy is doing better. It's good that she is ready to go back to work. Must mean she feels better!

Your October trip sounds exciting. They are learning a lot from you about Disney planning, aren't they?

We made it to Tallahassee. Tried a new restaurant here. Local place with really good food. Cabo's Island Grill. The Caribbean Jerk chicken is awesome!!!

Now we are kicking back in the hotel. I will try to finish up this TR.

When I left off we were headed into Magic Kingdom to spend most of the day. First we rode Barnstormer!! This was per DS's request. Boy, times have changed, haven't they?? Only 2 trips ago he was affraid of it. He rode it, but didn't really care for it. Now he is begging to do it first! So off we went. As you know, they are tearing Toontown apart very soon to start building all the new stuff. Barnstomer will be no more. Well, it will still be at WDW but it will be in a new location and a totally different theme. So, as far as we knew....this would be our last ride. Bittersweet. (I'm not sure if it's there right now. Guess I will find out tomorrow if they've started tearing it down or not)

Finally it was our turn. DS and DH got 1st car!!! He was actually excited about that.

When we got off I asked him how he liked it. His reply...."It was TOTALLY AWESOME!!!" (see Rosie....piece of cake! )

After this we of course rode Buzz again and the people mover before making our way over to It's a Small World. I believe we got to ride the Jungle boat ride also and we just had an all around good day! For lunch, I had DS's new Disney lunch bag packed that I had bought. That worked well and made things less stressful for DH and I. This trip we actually got to try the taco place over near Pirates of the Caribbean. I can't remember the name right now...something like Il pirato. DH and I got burrito's from there and they were HUGE and they were GOOD!!!! We were stuffed. It also came with spanish rice.

Later we made our way out of the park and rested up at OKW for a short while. We then headed to DTD for our ADR's at T-REX!!! DS loves this place. We will be eating here again this trip.

The new balloon ride at DTD. We did NOT do this. It just doesn't look like that much fun to me. I don't really care for heights.

This time we let DS do the "Build a Dino". The girl who helped him was SO SWEET!!

He picked out the Spinosaurus skin and named him "Spiney". Now he is helping to stuff his dino....

Then you register him and make the Dino promise and pick up his birth certificate.

Then mom and dad pays for ALL OF THAT. Really, it wasn't too bad. At least I have a boy and he didn't want to pick out an outfit for his dino. I can see where the price could go up really quick with the clothes.

After this we strolled around DTD a little. Not for too long because it was just sooo cold. It wasn't really the cold that would get you....it was the wind!! It stayed at 20-30mph the entire time. It just wore you out because it was constantly beating on you.


Up next......our Final Day!!! Day 7....we've never stayed 7 before! What to do with our last day????

The kids loved TREX, I just finished that update. Danielle got a dino too and it had to have an outfit. This will be somewhere we eat at again! It was loud but they thought it was so cool.

the barnstormer was still running on our wednesday day in MK, and i think you were there that day as well, so hopefully you guys got on it.

seeing your DVC story makes me upset we did not take the tour, we planned on doing it for the GC but never got around to it.

Yes I was a big fat chicken!!! I hate rides that drop you like that. It really wasn't TOO BAD. Yes, I COULD ride it again but I probably won't.

The build a dino was GREAT!! They will love it.

ToT was fun because I was with a group of great people. I would NEVER go on that by myself.

We did get to ride barnstomer! We rode it quite a few times for good measure.

The tour was great. Although it does take longer than they first tell you. We were there a few hours!

Well, we made it home from the June trip! It was the hottest I've ever seen at WDW. I can't imagine what it is like going in August. At times it was just un-bearable. We tried to do what we could to make it better. Such as....making it to rope drop each day(didn't happen every day) then going back to the hotel to jump in the pool by 1pm. We would stay in the pool from 1 to around 4pm then head up to the room to eat dinner. I cooked this time and while yes, it worked out well schedule-wise, I was just exhausted. The heat, plus the late nights and early mornings, plus cooking, etc. Just too much! We tried to do whatever park had evening EMH so that we didn't have to stay in the parks during the day. The big rides, you had to ride right at rope drop or get a fast pass right at rope drop or you were NOT going to ride it.....unless you wanted to wait in lines such as 100+ minutes long. I will forever be a fan of going to WDW in the winter. I don't know how we are going to figure that out from now on since we can't pull DS from school anymore. But something has got to give.

Our last day and a half was better because it had rained a lot and cooled everything off. We grabbed ponchos the last day at Epcot and just went with it rather than leaving. It stormed for a while but it also gave us time to catch Voices of Liberty and the American Adventure which we have NEVER done and I am sooo glad we now have!! To Sooze.....I now see what you are talking about. I absolutely loved it and yes, I cried. I was so surprised to hear them sing "you are my sunshine". That is what I have sang to DS since he was in my belly. He turned to me and gave me the sign language sign of "I love you" and I just melted. I never had a chance! VoL is now on my "must do" list every trip!
