Hey girl! It seems like ya'll are off to a great start.....well with the exception of the expired Frappuccino. We call the food expiration dates "rot dates".

It's always cool to see pictures taken while on the road. I like seeing other parts of the country.

That IS crazy b/c Arlington isn't a big suburb--it's growing but it's definitely not a big town. We LOVE living there--small town feel but very close to everything!!

Thursday morning the kids got to have their beloved Continental Breakfast. The breakfast room was in its own little building out by the pool. By 9:00 we were out the door and on our way to Bay Lake Tower!

I think this overpass with all the landscaping (overpass-scaping?) is pretty!


Pretty soon it was turnpike time!

Allison thought this wall was pretty:

The kids were on the lookout for the first “Disney World” sign. Max was the first to spot one, though. What was it?

The closer we got, the more landmarks we began to see. When we drove past Universal, you could even see the very peaks of Hogwarts in the distance. That was exciting! Up next we saw:

It was then that we noticed there was a sky-writer in the air:

The kids kept an eye on him while we admired those purple highway signs.

Then we saw our first monorail of the trip!

And we drove through these gates:

All the while jumping up and down and going crazy with excitement!

OMG!!! What a teaser!!!! lol I CAN NOT WAIT to read about more and more!!! Mom really wants to stay at BLT next christmas, but I don't know if we will be able to since we are transfering our RCI into DVC, but she keeps saying ya know it might be worth it just to pay OOP lol She really wants to stay there obviously... 95 for a week vs a couple thousand for the week lol thats determination... anywhoo... I can't wait for more!!! How far was it from ocalo? We stayed at savannah the last time, but I think we may going into fl the next time before we stop. We visited paula deen on our trip down last year.

Cool! I like the pics driving up to Disney property! As you know from my TR, we've never stayed on property, so there are many other signs that you got to photograph! The view of the Contemporary and BLT looks different from the car perspective as opposed to the monorail ones and the other shots that others post. Thanks for sharing!
