Yes! Main Street at night (especially so empty like that) is quite the romantic place! I wish more people understood that!

I think CRT for dinner is worth it at least once - that, wishes and spectro is just the perfect Disney evening.

It was an amazing night! We were both very impressed with CRT, and the window table and confetti made it even better! I hope you enjoy it in December as much as we did!

It's hard not to get emotional on the last Disney night! I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone!

It is so nice when our visions for our vacations turn out how we expect them to! That final evening was exactly how I had planned it! Oooh, I really hope you get to see Specto again! This was actually our first time seeing it, and it is a must do from now on! It was definitely one of my favorite parts of our trip!

I agree! I definitely prefer walking out of the park late at night like that when you can really appreciate the beauty of the park. I feel like in the afternoon, I'm just so ready to leave and get back to the resort that I don't really "take it all in". On our next trip, we will definitely be spending more evenings in the parks!

Yes, the last night is always so emotional! But I was so happy with how the night turned out - so it was sad, but happy at the same time!

DAY 8 - DEPARTURE DAY & SOUVENIR REVEAL!

After returning from our wonderful final evening at the Magic Kingdom, I did a little more packing and then if was off to bed for us – we needed to be well-rested for our 7 hour drive the next day!

I was hoping to be on the road by 9:30, but we actually were up and ready to go by 8:30 so we decided to go ahead and start on our journey home. This was the day of the full marathon at Disney, so again I was worried about traffic issues! I certainly didn’t want a repeat of our bus ride from the previous day! I used the map feature on my phone and found a little “back way” out of the world, which was very close to AKL. So there was no passing under the sign and seeing all of the entrances to the parks one more time, which was kind of sad. But at least we didn’t run into any traffic!

The drive home was pretty uneventful. The most exciting thing was seeing the ice-covered orange trees on our way out of Orlando! We made it home around 3:30, sad to no longer be in the world, but excited to start using some of our souvenirs to remember the magic!

So what did we get?

Miguel chose this glass from the World of Disney.

I had to have the Eeyore that you see here! I already had Pooh from our previous trip, and thought Eeyore would be a great addition! I loved stuffed animals as a child, and I still love them as an adult! He also came from WOD.

Here is what we finally decided on from Basin! I don’t remember the scents, unfortunately. I have really sensitive skin, so these are being used for decoration only – although I’m sure they would be a great addition to a bath!

Here’s how I’m “displaying” them – I think next time I’m in the world I need to buy some more of these!

And lastly, my favorite purchase of the trip!

I saw these at WOD and had to have them! What better to commemorate our engagement celebration trip?! Aren’t they adorable? We actually haven’t used them yet – I’m thinking maybe we’ll wait until we are officially Mr. and Mrs.!

So that is all of our Disney purchases. I’ve mentioned on here before that I’m not a big souvenir buyer, but I have thought of some things for future trips that I would really like to bring home with me that we didn’t this time!

So the trip is over, but I’ve still got one more update! I hope you will stick around for my FINAL THOUGHTS!!!

Aren't the mugs so cute?! I just couldn't pass those up - even though I probably won't get that much use out of them (we aren't big coffee drinkers), I still had to have them!
