I read the menu at CSR for the pepper market and its sounds amazing!! We have the QSD and are looking for menu's that have a nice varity. Can you get a ribeye steak and all the sides on QSD? I also saw something about tipping? How does that work? Didnt know you had to tip at a QS?
Thanks

Rib eye is no longer offered at CSR as far as I know. (I asked about this a few weeks ago)

It may not be a ribeye, but you can still get a steak at Pepper Mkt for dinner ONLY and you get some sort of potato and veggies to go with it.

We've had it as recently as this past April. Decent steak considering it's just CS, but it's no longer ribeye. The menu doesn't specify the cut, so it can change. Sometimes it's fatty and not that great, other times it's pretty good. I ask at the grill first how the steak is tonight and they've honestly told me on some nights to get something else. The grilled steak comes with potato (usually fries, but I've subbed mashed now and then) and grilled veggies.

I don't expect fancy or a great steak from a CS place, so it's good considering the venue and cost of 1 CS credit (I think $13.95 OOP). If the grill steak isn't great that night, there is a ranchero style steak plate at the Mexican station. Skirt/flank type steak with ranchero sauce on it, rice and beans. This one seems to be more consistent.

They have steak at dinner only and the word has been that they've changed the cut - it's no longer a ribeye.

Pepper Market charges an automatic 10% gratuity for all guests eating in the restaurant. If you take the food to go, you don't have to pay it. There are reportedly now signs up in the restaurant stating the 10% gratuity is not covered by DDP. Pepper Market (which is not owned or operated by Disney) is the only quick service restaurant at WDW to charge a tip, although many guests prefer to leave tips at Wolfgang Puck Express as it has partial waiter service.

Further discussion of gratuities and tipping can be found on

Please use that thread for all tipping discussion and read the FAQ in the first post for information if you have more questions about tips at WDW restaurants.

Ok so they will add it to the total cost of the bill when using the dining plan so for example a family of 5 at $20 pp with desert, and drink would be $100 so $10 would be added and the difference would be out of pocket? If I choose to take my food to go and eat at the pool I would not pay the 10%
