from what i understand, there's a dolewhip location in the polynesian resort...
i think it would be easier for Shelly to get to the poly than to a park...
and maybe your boyfriend would find the poly interesting to see?

so maybe that could be a possibility? though i don't know where that is...i just recall seeing mentions of dolewhip meets at the poly...

Poly sounds good actually. They serve some pretty good (and strong) cocktails there, so I will keep him quiet with a few of those!

We were planning to go resort hopping anyway, and we have dinner ressies at Wilderness Lodge, so that will be fairly easy to get to. Plus the Poly is a lovely resort!

I am all up for there if everyone else is!

If we don't do June...free dining is a possibilty or October, however we might drop by on 12/25 on the way to Tampa for family cruise adventure. I wish that I book the Ding rate last Saturday, but NC B's time off was not approved until Monday.

Just catching up with the thread.

We are eating dinner off-site on the 26th so an afternoon meet would be good.

We will be in Magic Kingdom so the Poly would work out fine since this would allow the family to stay in the park while I duck out to meet everyone

SIL and their family will also be here so I will not feel so bad leaving the family

the only time i'm really going to be hard-pressed to be there is between 4 and 5 (or maybe if it runs late, 4 to 5:30)...
that's when Dr. Steven Narod is speaking and i'd really prefer not to miss his lecture (he's THE top expert in his field worldwide)...

but you can't base your timing on me.....and i won't be far....the conference is at the buena vista palace in WDW (hotel plaza)....so i'll be able to zip over or back, as the case may be...

so i guess what i'm saying is:
if we're aiming for mid-afternoon, my preferred time is at 3 PM (or earlier)...

if we're aiming for late afternoon, my preferred time is 6 pm (or later)

2.00, 3.00pm would be a great time as this would give a couple of hours before dashing off later. Hopefully allowing those that want to meet up earlier or later as plans dictate.

So, do we have a time or place? If it is the Poly, my behind will be placed on the corner chair at the Tambu Lounge at or around 2pm. Martini glass on the bar (I am sorry it is to early for crab cakes) and if DVC pool hopping is available, my daughter will be in the volcano pool.
