I haven't seen this mentioned here and I just received an email and letter from Disney on Ice about their latest tour "Disneyland Adventure"

"Catch the next ride to laugh out loud fun with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto as they embark on an adventure through the park in Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland® Adventure. Swing to the beat on the Jungle Cruise™ with Baloo, rock-n-roll with Stitch in the Tiki Room; have a blast with Buzz Lightyear on Space Mountain™; take a wild spin on the Mad Tea Party™ with Alice and the Mad Hatter and see Snow White and Cinderella during the Main Street U.S.A®parade! Be prepared for the mischief that lurks around the corner when the maniacal Maleficent turns Minnie and Donald into her two sleeping beauties and takes over the ice. Thrill to edge-of-your-seat excitement when everyone's favourite superhero family,The Incredibles, shows up to help Mickey save the day!"

Although it can't compare to actually being at Disneyland...it's as close as we are going to get here in Australia!!

These shows never come to Perth :(. Not that I mind this time though, because we'll be in the USA for those tour dates

I'm fascinated with the fact they have "Stitch in the Tiki Room" given Tokyo is the ONLY Disney park with Stitch invading the Tiki room.

It is a bit tempting this Disney on Ice...certainly better than the last few that have come around which were very 'stingy' on the set design component. The tea cups look very cool.
The last we went to was the 100 years of magic at the Entertainment centre.

Thanks for that Pooh Bear. First I have heard of it too. Took my daughter to the one last year I think it was called Princess Wishes. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm tempted to take my girls but I need to save money for my January DL trip (without the kids) - I'm a mean mum! We've been to a couple of the shows before, they are always good.

My sister and I are taking our 4 year olds, we all can't wait!!:smickey:

I booked last night - will be the closest we get to DL for the next 16 months! :rotfl2:

I really enjoyed Princesses last year - its nice to get any Disney near home between trips.

There was a review of Disneyland on Ice on the Dis Unplugged podcast - ages ago (maybe 6 months?) so you'd have to go back a fair way through the archives to find it but the reviewer basically said they enjoyed it and it was fun.

We have front row seats when it plays here in May.

DH suprised us all by booking front row tickets last week! With two boys, the Princess show wasn't really an option, but this will be a great way to 'tide us over' until we can get back to DL again!

We have booked our tickets... We intend to take our children to Disney on Ice and then out to dinner where we will tell them we are going to DL for real in September! Keeping the big secret is soooooo hard!

That's fantastic!!! Love to see the look on your kid's faces!!

We are just back from seeing the show - was really great and has only heightened my resolve that we will be going to the real thing next year!

I know it's not in OZ until next month, so save up for the overpriced merchandise...there were some very cool light spinning things which were either Princess or Incredibles themed, about NZD$30.

Heaps of Incredibles stuff, some rather cool mugs shaped like their heads (and there was also a Stitch one) filled with shave ice (NZD$16 I think) but I got DS some gold ears - starting the collection, hopefully he'll get the real black ones next September!

So were people wearing ears at the show? I was going to suggested my kids wear theirs but wasn't sure if that would be a step too far!!

There were lots of kids fully decked out in costumes - I saw a couple of Sleeping Beauties, Cinderella...so go for it with the ears - if anything, they'll be underdressed! :rotfl:

I was thinking on wearing my ears and Disneyland shirt and my Grand daughter is wearing the Minnie dress we got her.
