I just called one of the phone booths in the UK part of the World Showcase!

I got through twice and talked to two different people!

I met a nice girl from Canada and a guy who just arrived at Epcot for Illuminations tonight!

Where did you get the number from? Is it shown inside the booth? Is that the same one used for the Kim Possible golf ball thing?

I just got back from WDW and I meant to bring the phone number with me but I forgot it!

A friend of mine called someone the other day and talked to a lady for about a half hour he said!

I've done this a bunch - it's surprisingly hard to get someone to A. answer the phone and B. actually talk! But it's great fun. I have all 3 numbers programmed into my iPhone.

The other booth numbers end in 9862 and 9863.

LOL...I called the 9863 got a group of Teenagers from Long Island....Said they were having a blast, YOUR in DISNEY of course your having a blast...Shawn

Oh, me too. Glad it wasn't just me. I was all set to see if anyone would answer and chat... and then got that annoying beeping/screeching sound. Oh well, I'll try again another time.

i had a great time playing with ppl while there a few weeks ago (while my dd stood far away, embarrassed ).
i'm keeping the details for my TR, but have to say, it can be a lot of fun!!! (btw, i did disclose that it was me that called a bit after they got out of the booths - it was great to make total strangers laugh that hard.)
