Hello, My name is Dina. I think some of you may follow me over here from my PTR. I've been planning this trip ever since we came back from our trip last year. Last year was just awful! It rained every single day of our trip except for the day we took off back to Tucson! So in order to make up for that trip I told my DH that we would make a second trip to make up for it. This trip was DH's second time to the WDW resort the first time being last year during our rainy day event!

So a little background! Disney (Like many people) holds a very special place in our hearts. DH and I both service in the USAF. We met while we were stationed in Japan. After a whirl wind of 6 months of getting to know each other and dating DH popped the question to me at the Tokyo Disney Land Resort. On Splash Mountain. Yes, Yes it was before the drop! But it was just awesome and made what Disney is for us today! We love it so much we can't share the wealth with others! We tried to go with my SIL and BIL but it was not the same and we'd rather just go by ourselves. When we came back to the states we had a AP to DL. We used it for every penny we spent and then decided not to go to DL every holiday! Ha! So I planned a trip to WDW since DH had even been there and my goal was to hit every Disney Park in the world. So far we have been to three of the five. We were going to go to the one in Hong Kong but DH was worried that we might not be able to buy a house if we used money to go before we left Japan. But someday if we ever end up in Japan again that's the very first thing we are doing!

DL7.jpg

So here I am in front of the Disney Dream Suite. I'm 26 years old no kids yet. There is talks and plans. And I'm the Disney lover!!

DL4.jpg

Here is DH he is also 26 and is going away for 6 months because of the job. Not a Deployment but training for work. It's going to be a very long 6 months. :( This is DH at Innovations I think....I can't remember...

DL5.jpg

So in a way we are trying to get a lot of trips out of the way before he leaves. Like this one and then we have to go to San Diego to see his parents before he leaves. And his Father is getting married so we are going to Las Vegas for that. So I wanted a special trip besides my birthday before he left me for so long. We don't really have that much money so thankfully the San Diego trip and the Vegas trip besides gas are free! DL will cost us some money but not that much since I found a hotel that is at a pretty good price and has free parking and is right across the street from DL! But I am getting off topic here check out that PTR in my sig!

So, to begin the trip now! Yay!

So I packed our suitcase a couple of days before the trip. Mainly because I know my DH and he is a last minute packer. So I went right ahead and took care of everything. The night before we dropped off our dog Drizzt. We love this dog! He is a baby for the moment! We were having a huge dilemma about what to do with him weather to put him in a kennel or put him in a Pet Hotel. We went and looked at a Kennel and it was just awful! We couldn't stomach putting him in there surrounded by urine and noisy dogs and being outside. So we said heck no! And took him to PetsMart which has a PetsHotel! It was great! We paid a little bit more like $25 a day to put him in there but he got three walks a day which he doesn't get at home and three play times with other dogs every other day. So some days he was getting out of his kennel six times a day! So now we are always going to use that service when we can't take him with us!

Drizzt is named after a character in the Forgotten Realms series just in case there are any R.A. Salvatore fans out there! He is a German Sheppard Mix 2 years out. :)

DisneyWorld20100022.jpg

So the following morning we get up at 4 am. Which was a mistake! We should have gotten up at 3:30 am! I don't know what I was thinking! I mean we live 30 minutes from the airport. So one hour to get the car packed and drive to the airport was not enough! DH and I had a spat because our plane took off at 6 am and he was moving at about the pace of a snail. it was 5:10 am before we left the house. Thankfully we didn't forget anything. We hopped on the I-10 and drove as quickly as we could without breaking the law. We got to the garage where we were going to leave our car of the week and had about 20 minutes to spare before I plane took off. They were boarding by the time we got there. We didn't have any breakfast and nothing to drink. We were really pushing it and American Airlines doesn't has out snacks for free anymore!

DisneyWorld2010004.jpg

I was happy once we were in the air. Here we are getting ready to take off. That's not my hair naturally. I got it flat ironed for the trip but you'll see later that that was a complete waste of money this trip!

DisneyWorld2010008.jpg

We were some where over the mid west in this picture. Our connection was in Chicago. WHY?!?!?! I have no idea! How silly seeing how we live in Tucson why would we fly all the way up there and then to Orlando? I have no idea it was just dumb and took almost three hours to get there!

We land in Chicago and we are both staring. So we try to find our gate and then once we find it we go on the hunt for food. We get really expensive Wolfgang Puck Express which isn't even that great! I didn't like it at all and didn't even finish my salad. Once we are done we head back to the gate and grab some Starbucks. I'm not ashamed to admit I love that place!

DisneyWorld2010009.jpg

DH got coffee and I got a Chai Latte. About an hour before our plan takes off I ask DH to check what seat numbers we have because we didn't get seats assigned to us when we got our boarding pass. He goes up the counter and then comes back and says "Oh crap they changed the gate on us! We have to get the heck out of here!" DH makes things very over dramatic all the time. So much so some times he really freaks me out. I know he is doing it on purpose cause he starts to laugh once he sees the look of dread on my face. So we pack up our things and speed walk it to the correct gate which again is already boarding by the time we get there! ***!?!?

DisneyWorld2010011.jpg

We fly into Orlando finally. After we landed we were informed that we couldn't go to the terminal because of a Thunderstorm that rolled in as we were landing. So, we sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes waiting for the storm to pass. By time time it's 7pm. I'm not mad not yet, I'm just ready to get to the hotel. Finally the pilot is given the okay to dock and we jump off the plane.

DisneyWorld2010012.jpg

Here is DH walking to the baggage claim. He was acting silly like he always does!

I took a picture of the rain. My high hopes for it not raining my trip this time started crashing down!

DisneyWorld2010013.jpg

We got on the tram that takes us to the baggage claim. DH tried to cheer me up that it would be a great week even though the weather reports claimed it'd rain all day tomorrow and then a 40% chance of rain the remainder of the week. I was simply not packed for the rain so if it did rain it would have been worse than last year!

DisneyWorld2010014.jpg

We find our way to the baggage claim and then make our way to the Mears Shuttle.

DisneyWorld2010015.jpg

Up next it takes how long to get to Shades of Green?!?! And speak up when you pay for something!

We finally arrive and find the Mears shuttle. The lady at the counter was thankfully pretty nice and helped us get our return ticket quickly. We were able to board our shuttle pretty quickly. I was a little worried we'd have to wait AGAIN. We had a few other people with us in the shuttle and we were the last stop. I'm not sure why since Shades of Green is really close to the Poly. But I digress! So we rode the shuttle to the Gaylord Palms or something like that and it took 30 minutes to get there! Then we rode on to Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Hilton and finally the comtemporary. The last person riding with us was really nice and asked if we were staying there too. We said no were going somewhere that you have to be in or associated with military to stay at.

DisneyWorld2010016.jpg

So she leaves and then the driver asks us if the air is okay. We say we were cold. Since we got there our skin started soaking up all the moisture. There is no humidity or in Arizona so it was great for my skin........horrible for my hair. I could feel my curls slowly starting to come back. :( He told us we need to tell him if we are cold or not since we paid for this we should get taken care of. It was very nice of him to inform us of that haha!

DisneyWorld2010017.jpg

We passed the POP on the way in. I've never stayed there and now I don't think I ever will. The Values left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth from last year. The room was nice but I like to have a fridge to at least keep my drinks cold over night!

DisneyWorld2010018.jpg

We finally pull up to our hotel! I was so happy to not be traveling anymore I could have just passed out right then and there. We check in and are told all the usual stuff room key is your key to the world and the bus times for the parks.

We almost ran to our room when our suitcase wheel bent and almost broke off! We had to pull it by the fabric on the bottom to make it go. The wheels no longer worked!

Here I am peeking out from behind the curtain in our room! I was checking out the patio!

DisneyWorld2010029.jpg

Hungry yet again we ran down stairs to grab some dinner from the hotel resturant. I guess some people said that Mangino's wasn't that great. It's okay for the most part. I wouldn't write home about it.

DisneyWorld2010033.jpg

Our waiter was very distracted for some reason and wouldn't look at us to even when he was talking to us. He kept looking up front like he had to be somewhere and messed up my food order. Come on it's just pasta! But over all it was okay. We didn't eat there for the remainder of the trip.

We had these flags on our tables it was cool! I kept switching the flag to the Air Force one just to be silly. Even though I took a picture of the Navy and the Marines.

DisneyWorld2010034.jpg

After our dinner it was after 10 pm so we made our way back to our room. DH caught me here complaining about how stuffed and tired I was.

DisneyWorld2010041.jpg

We had to pass through the lobby to get to our room and they have a patriotic Mickey out there so I made DH take a picture with Mickey. :)

DisneyWorld2010044.jpg

Then I took two photos of DH doing what he does best!

DisneyWorld2010049.jpg

DisneyWorld2010051.jpg

Can you tell he is playing with his phone?

I wanted to check out the gym so we went down stairs but the door back into the hotel locks after a certain hour. DH wouldn't let me back in. Haha so I snapped a picture of him and told him we'll be getting up at 6 am tomorrow if he doesn't let go of the door!

DisneyWorld2010056.jpg

Shortly after that we made the small trek back to our room and hit the lights. I was getting up at 8 am no questions asked. I watched the weather channel till I fell asleep and it said it was going to be a 70% chance of rain and thunderstorms I was hoping that wasn't the case!

Up next Turkeys! And I love Splash Mountain but this is a bit much!?!?!

Yay! You started your TR!!! :yay: I'm loving it so far - great pictures and so descriptive :thumbsup2 And WOW! What a long travel day! That wore me out just reading about it!

Oh geez it was horrible! I mean it could have been way worse but you know maybe when I come home to GA this Christmas the traveling won't be as bad!

Just found your TR! Great start! I can't wait to read more. :)
Thank you so much and welcome to my TR! It has more interesting things that happened over this trip! I think my favorite day by far was Epcot!
popcorn:: I'm in! Can't wait to hear more!
Thank you and welcome! I'm getting right on that in the post below! Haha!

After falling asleep to the weather channel predicting a 70% change of rain the next day. I woke up at 7:30 freaking out that there would be rain. So I jump out of bed and pull back the curtains. DH mumbles at me to close them when.........
DisneyWorld2010057.jpg

What the heck that's a wild turkey!!!?!?! I was shocked to see a Turkey just hanging out right outside of our window. I mean I could have opened the patio door and touched it! It was so close!
He noticed me and started to walk away.

DisneyWorld2010058.jpg

Then I noticed there was four of them!

DisneyWorld2010059.jpg

After trying very hard to get DH to get out of bed to see the Turkeys I just started out the window to watch the golfers play golf on the thickest grass I've ever seen in my life!

DisneyWorld2010063.jpg

I only spent about 10 minutes at the window, when I decided it was time to get up. DH wouldn't! It took nearly a hour and a half to get him out of bed.
We finally made it down to the breakfast buffet around 9:30 AM. I know, I know some of you are already in the parks by then. But your not married to my DH 10 AM is about as early as it gets for him on a good day! So I was really lucky we was even awake before 9! After taking time with breakfast we made it to the bus pick up. At SoG the bus come every half an hour! I was a little bit annoyed at that. But we could have walked over to the Poly and caught a bus if we really wanted to. However, we just waited for the bus this day. It looked cloudy outside so I was a little scared about rain but I was hoping it wouldn't be so! Then next couple of days called for a 40% chance of rain. But like I said I hoped that wouldn't happen. The bus pulls up and takes us to the TTC. Where we catch the Monorail to MK.

DisneyWorld2010063.jpg

I guess sometimes I pass for Indian....which I'm not by the way I'm Turkish and Black. But from what I could understand from the Indian family that walked up to us...or at least I think what they were asking was which Monorail was for Epcot. They got in the wrong line. They kept saying Epcot and then either Hindi or Punjabi...I felt bad cause I had to point them to the other side and their faces dropped cause the line was really long for Epcot. And they just waited in the line for MK....But they thanked me and moved to a CM. I hope they helped them out...

DisneyWorld2010064.jpg

We got on the Monorail and had to stand which was fine. I would have gotten up regardless cause and older couple boarded at the same time as us and the car was packed. I felt like I was on the rush hour train in Tokyo! I snapped this picture of Cindy's as we got closer.

DisneyWorld2010067.jpg

We had to go to guest services to activate our tickets and then ran into a photopass CM. I told DH I wanted a picture in front of the train station and then photopass CM was more than helpful. He even told me how to focus on a lighter object so that things don't come out brightly in my pictures! I tried to wait for people to get out of our pictures but he hold me it's a wasted effort cause someone is always going to be in your picture. So here is the end product!

DisneyWorld2010068.jpg

In this picture the clouds are starting to roll in and I'm getting a little nervous by then!

DisneyWorld2010069.jpg

DH is complaining that it's too humid. Which I'm not going to lie....it was! I had to put my hair up. I had it down because I wanted to wear it straight. But the humidity decided otherwise and my curls were coming back hard core. So half my hair was curly by this point and the other half straight. I didn't want to look too crazy so I just pulled it back.

DisneyWorld2010070.jpg

I wanted to take a picture at the Roy Disney and Minnie Mouse Statue I had to wait 15 minutes for this family with two kids by the way to finally stop taking like 2000 pictures of their kids in various poses with the statue. DH snapped a quick one of me and then we were off!

DisneyWorld2010071.jpg

We managed to get on Pirates rather quickly! I was shocked at how fast actually. DH asked me if the Blue Bayou was here. Haha I have to keep telling him that's only at DL. But he wants the place to be there for some reason and he asks me every time we go on Pirates there! I think I found a hidden Mickey but then I noticed serveral other locks that looked the same...so I might be wrong!

DisneyWorld2010072.jpg

After Pirates we got a fast pass for BTM. We walked around for a bit and DH lost a dollar to the rifle shotting place. He was more than annoyed!

DisneyWorld2010074.jpg

We walked and walked and walked burning up time on our fast pass. Splash Mountain's wait was really long and Space Mountain's wait was already 100 minutes. I down loaded a ride times app on my droid which helped a lot while were there.

DH and the liberty bell.

DisneyWorld2010075.jpg

A very nice CM that was playing with a puppet for little kids. She waved at me when I snapped this picture.

DisneyWorld2010076.jpg

Shortly after that we made our way back to BTM.

DisneyWorld2010073.jpg

The sky was getting more gray and more cloudy by the minute and it was getting pretty close to our ADR at Cindy's Castle! I told DH I know it was geeky and cheesy but I heard the food was great there and I was "Only going for the food". Yeah! So we made our way there. I tried to check in 10 minutes prior but they said I have to wait until 2 minutes before my ADR. I'm not sure if this is regular treatment of people with out kids.....but I didn't like it when families with hordes of children went in 10 to 15 minutes prior to their reservation. We equally have to wait in line and all get sat the same so I was a little annoyed by that. So we wandered around the castle for a few minutes. I found the fairy godmother but I didn't feel like standing in line to take a picture with her.

DisneyWorld2010078.jpg

We looked around for a bit more and tried to find some sunscreen for DH. He figured since it was cloudy we wouldn't need any until he felt his skin start to burn! So we ran and found some and then went back to the castle. We found a different CM that told us we could have checked in sooner....hrm okay. I didn't get mad but I was happy she said my first name right. She laughed at me and said "Well how else do you say it?" I told her trust me! There are tons of ways to say my name wrong and I've been called every Di name in the book of names!

DisneyWorld2010084.jpg

Shortly after we were ushered into the waiting room to see Cinderella!

Up next So you want the Major Domo's Favorite Pie and Chocolate Cream Cheese Buckle is that correct Sir? and Splash Mountain is not the same ride I remember from Tokyo Disney Land!

DH was looking over my shoulder, and was like "ohh turkeys in someone's yard" I I replied "no, that's at Disney" So now he wants to see turkeys at too

We had a similar experience with CRT. They didn't seem too interested or enthused with us since we didn't have kids. That was a total bummer. We were paying MORE with our table of 4 adults than a table of 4 with 2 kids.... you'd think they'd treat us the same :confused3

You would think right? Well two of them treated me well but the other two not so much. I mean we paid for the special treatment so at least give it to us. Our waiter was awesome and knew what DH wanted even before we sat down!

Haha yeah the Turkeys were so cool! We saw them each morning. I think they liked our side of the hotel. :)

DisneyWorld2010085.jpg

They finally let us into the waiting area to wait to be seated upstairs. We waited and waited and then waited someone. I saw families with little princess beginning to file in and started to feel a little stupid for booking this ADR. The families didn't pay us any attention and there was two other childless couples in there with us. But I felt like...am I too old to be here right now? I mean I know the food is good..but I feel silly right now. I was worried that the Characters were going to look at me strange and disapprovingly. I worried so much until Cinderella came out. She was really nice to us when we came up to take a picture with us. She of course asked me if DH was my Prince and I said yes! He wooed me with his music. She was really nice and gave us at least 3 minutes of chatting about how cute DH was and how cute we are together. I ate it up and was okay after treatment like that. I was thinking this was worth the money we paid now. I can rest assure that they maybe thinking "Ugh adults!" but at least they aren't showing it!

DisneyWorld2010086.jpg

We waited again to be taken upstairs. A little princess started to play around us on the bench we waited on and a little pirate would trying to kidnap us. It was so funny how kids treat adults that have no kids. They treated us like kids. It was so funny and they kept putting a show on for us. No need of course but I guess they saw an audience and jumped at the chance. They called our names and we took the winding steps up to the second floor.

DisneyWorld2010087.jpg

This place was so pretty and I just wish there was more windows! But it did really make me think I was in a castle.

DisneyWorld2010088.jpg

Belle was finishing up her rounds when we reached the top.

I took another snap shot of the place while we wanted for our super awesome waiter to come by!

DisneyWorld2010089.jpg

He came and talked in a very funny British accent. We swiftly got our drink orders and then guessed what DH wanted even before DH got a chance to look at the menu. And would believe DH wanted everything even after her looked over the menu. Our waiter said I was harder to read since I'm so little. Haha.

So he brought out this yummy assortment of veggies, pastrami, and and grapes. I ate everything but the pastrami. I let DH have it. (Off topic here!!!!!! It seems that my problems do not lie with the actually digestion of meat. So I can officially eat meat again! Which I'm soooo very very happy about! It is the oil that the meat is cooked in. I talked with a good friend that is going to be a dietition and she said I should start cooking all my meat in Pam with Oil Olive rather than use pure oil in my cooking. It will help me to not use too much and it's not as concentrated so I should be able to digest it better. I was so happy with the results the first day I made Chicken marinated in lemon, soy sauce and vinegar with rice and green beens. Okay...now that that's cleared up back to the TR!)

DisneyWorld2010090.jpg

DH order the Major Domo's Favorite Pie.

DisneyWorld2010091.jpg

And I got the Salmon with Jasmine rice and fresh veggies. I tore into mine before I remembered to take a picture. For the rest of the trip I was just too hungry to remember to take pictures. So yeah this is pretty much it!

DisneyWorld2010092.jpg

Shortly after we finished our meal Snow White came out and started making the rounds. DH officially thought it was strange.....

DisneyWorld2010097.jpg

After a bit Snow White made it over to out table. She asked of course if DH was my Prince and I said yes he is! He found me while we were in a distant place known as Japan. She giggled at us and then asked if DH would like a picture with her. DH was kind of not into but took one with her.

DisneyWorld2010093.jpg

Then she asked if I wanted a picture and I said yes. So I jumped up and stood next to her. Snow White pulled me in for a big hug! I was shocked because most of the speaking characters are really stand offish towards adults. So I was really happy that she was trying to make our day really great! I have a napkin in my hand and our Cindy picture.

DisneyWorld2010094.jpg

Then to make things even better our waiter was there cleaning up our plates and asked us if we want to take a picture with Snow White together. He said this was a very rare for him. Haha I'm sure! He told us by the count of three our picture would be take one two my lord and ladies your picture is taken. Snow White told him she was very sneaking and made us all laugh. She actually thanked us for our time and gave a final hug to me and moved on to the next table.

DisneyWorld2010095.jpg

I was really giddy after that I was expect all the other Princess to act the same. :woohoo:

Next was Aurora. She asked how were doing and how our day went. We said it was good so far but we only had time today for a few rides. She then asked if we wanted a picture and moved on. It was short...but not so sweet. I expected for after the great treatment I got from Snow White.

DisneyWorld2010096.jpg

Me slightly disappointed.

DisneyWorld2010098.jpg

Then Ariel was making the rounds. She stopped by our table asked us how we were doing and asked if we wanted a picture and then moved on. I was not happy with the last two Princess at this point. The could have been new maybe??! I want to say or maybe they just didn't like to interact with adults....I'm not sure...but I wasn't happy. I was like where is Snow White again?
DisneyWorld2010100.jpg

After Ariel our desert came out. DH had the Chocolate Cream Cheese Buckle I think and I had the sorbet. I ate the sorbet before I remembered to take a picture and DH was half way through his so I just took a picture of the celebrate while chocolate chip.

DisneyWorld2010099.jpg

After desert belle came to join us. She was super sweet and asked if DH was my Beast. I hesitated and decided sometimes he is. She laughed at me and said well in my book a beast is a good thing. She asked if we were having a good day and if we read any interesting books lately. She then pulled me up to take a picture with her and made her rounds. DH swore she had an Irish accent...but I was pretty sure she just had a nasally voice. HAha! :rotfl:

DisneyWorld2010101.jpg

At this point we were done. So DH was like where is the bill. I think I forgot to explain to him we paid a long time ago. When we left the sky was getting really dark. I suggested we go on Splash Mountain since that was our special ride. We got in line which was only a 15 minute wait. We board the ride and it begins to sprinkle. I go okay as long as it stays this way I'll be okay. We'll get a little wet and then find shelter. So the ride goes inside and turns a bend to go back outside. By the point the sky has opened up let out gallons of rain on top of us. In a matter of second we were soaked to the bone. They stopped the ride and then told us they had to close it down due to the weather. It was pouring so bad and we were so wet we decided to call it a day. We got off the ride and started making our way back to SoG.

We hopped on the ferry to the TTC.

DisneyWorld2010102.jpg

Never been on the ferry so it was a new expeicance for me.

Some pictures of the Poly and the ride back.

DisneyWorld2010103.jpg

Up next Down Town Disney!

Those pics of you with the princesses at CRT are great! Makes me wish I'd booked in too.
Pity the weather was wet for you....but at least it doesn't seem as wet as last year!

Ok, so I definitely thought your title was referring to turkey legs, not actual turkeys! Maybe they wondered over from Fort Wilderness?! :lmao:

Haha...the picture of Snow White and your DH is cracking me up. SW's making the cheesiest face! I'm so happy she really played it up with you guys. If only they could have all been that way, right?

And I hate it started raining for you guys! Ugh, I'm really hoping that doesn't happen all week!

It was fun besides two princess! I would do it again for sure!!

Well if the Turkeys wandered over to us it was a long walk. Haha! But I think they are a staple of the place because they were there every morning. I think they got hand outs from the guests and that's why they are there. There was all kinds of wild life. We watched a crane hunting fish in the pond. We saw a few alligator lizards and tons of alligators!

Oh after this day it didn't rain again! It was soooo nice!

After we got back to the TTC we waited for our bus to take us back to Shades of Green. I think it was just around 4pm by this time. The rain cleared up but we were still soaked so there was no well in hell we were going to return to the park. DH was worried because I was a little bit upset. But I was okay because I got to do everything I wanted to pretty much that day. And besides were are going to DL for my birthday and he likes that park better. Cause it's got Indy!

So the bus arrived and we hopped on board. We were pretty hungry by that point and the sun was coming back out so I suggested we go to Down Town Disney. DH agreed and we hopped on a bus headed for there.

We passed by Team Disney! I said yep when I'm done with Culinary School that's where I'm going to be applying!

DisneyWorld2010106.jpg

Then we went and got in line for the Rain Forest Cafe. Not sure why DH likes this place the food portions are way too big for me. We had to wait about an hour so we walked around for a bit.

DisneyWorld2010107.jpg

DisneyWorld2010108.jpg

We bought a lot of things we shouldn't have bough but oh well. I also got two T-shirts from the Rain Forest Cafe for $25 which isn't too bad compared to Disney! Haha!

Had dinner and then went back to the hotel. We had a message waiting for us when we returned. I'm sure that the phone was flashing us when we came back and we didn't notice. But anyways called down to the front desk to get the package and lo and behold it was a gift from Australia!!!

Thank you so much PrincessinOZ it was just great! I love the coasters but now I'm scared to use them. And I love the table runner? Is that right? It was just awesome! DH was really excited about it cause I forgot we have a boomerang from when his Dad was stationed in Australia for a few months when he was younger. This gift actually made DH happier than anything else that happened that day!

Here is the beginning of many days where DH didn't want to get out of bed at all. But today was Epcot's Early Morning Magic hours so I had to get him up!

After finally pushing him out of bed we were on the bus for the TTC by 10 minutes to 8. We made it there about 8:15 I think. Totally missed rope drop but had time to take pictures for a family and ourselves before finally making my first attempt at Soarin'

It actually went well and I wasn't sick. Which I was happy about because I get motion sick like nobodies business! We then jumped on TT and grabbed fast passes for it after we finished the ride. We then headed over to MS. I was super nervous. So much so I almost threw the orange ticket back at the CM because he assumed I'd be able to handle the orange side. He told me I was braved enough and it's not so much that I'm scared it's that I will be so sick that I'd have to leave the parks for the rest of the day.

So I got on MS.

The tame one is not so tame for me. It made me a little bit sick so we had to take it easy for a hour. I just wanted some sprite or something to settle my stomach so we headed over to the where you can sample all different kids of Cokes like the Coke Cola Factory in Atlanta.

Can you guess which drink DH was drinking???

Shortly after that we went back to The Lands and a very very very nice CM said to me why hello there Princess Jasmine and then bowed deeply and said oh of Prince Aladdin. Haha this was to be the start of much Princess Jasmine calling this day. She asked us the reason for a visit and we said to get the heck out of Aggrabah and go somewhere cooler. She then asked us where Rajah was and I said he was in a kennel. She said oh no your going to get a nasty note then when you guys get back about him. We all laughed and then she pointed us in the right directing for the Living Lands ride.

We had about 30 minute wait.

Pineapples! I had an fight when one of DH's friends that was convinced that pineapples grew on trees. No matter what I told him that they grown on the ground he wouldn't believe me! Finally I found pictures of them but he said I was making them up and they were fake so I have proof that pineapples really do grown in a bush in the ground! Haha!

Hidden Mickey!

After that ride we grabbed lunch in the Sunshine Terrance is that what it's called? The CM was really rude. I was not sure what her problem was. She mad even before we walked up the counter. She didn't ask what we ordered until after she run up our meal and then told us we should have told her we were only drinking water. Well if you given us time to tell you instead of ringing us up right away then you could have saved yourself the trouble. I'm never eating there again!

Also a French families children would not stop trying to sit next to me. They were all over the place and kept trying to sit next to me. I thought it was funny but the parents didn't. The kids even tried to speak to me but it was a lost cause I never learned French!

Up next! Thibald?!??! Wow European's have no personal space!

Hey Dina. Glad you liked the gifts. The coasters should be fairly hardy - so don't be afraid to use them and the cloth thing can be used as a table runner or a tea towel. I almost got you a boomerang (glad I didn't now after hearing that you already have one) - but thought that the kitchen theme would be more appropriate :)

MS is the only ride that I almost got sick on at the World. I have a cast-iron stomach where rides are concerned but I get seasick just looking at waves in the ocean . When we did MS, DH and I had to sit down for 30 minutes before we felt better.

I'm guessing that your DH is drinking the Coke drink from Japan? I thought they were all sickly sweet...

I love them! Good I was worried we'd ruin them but now I'll put the coasters to good use!

I just can't ride sims they make me really motion sick. I don't what it is and it's a recent thing when I was younger I could ride them no problem but now I just can't ride those. MS is a really harsh ride regardless of how you look at it. :P

DH is drinking the Beverly from Italy. It was okay going down but when the after taste hits you it's just awful! But I guess it does say it's a pallet cleanser. :scared1:

Oh, I'm so glad to hear it didn't rain anymore! I was so hoping you May travelers would get nice, dry weather this time around!

And don't you look cute at Epcot?! That's a great picture of you and your DH in front of SE. :lovestruc
