How much is to add hoppers to your tickets??

We normally don't do hoppers. But we are doing Star Wars weekend next week. I am thinking if it's swamped we may want to bail out and go to another park.

Also how about water park and more vs a one day pass to waterpark. I was thinking we would just do one day and pay for it. Now I am thinking we might want to try both. Thanks.

Adding hopping and adding the water parks feature are the same price - with tax, they are each around $55 per ticket.

A one day water park pass is closer to $45, so that's the better deal if you only plan to go to a water park once.

And that $55 price is true no matter how many ticket days you have on your ticket - 1 or 10.

You probably already know but you can add one or both options once you are already there. So wait to make sure it is what you want before spending the money. Or just add the water park option and go to a water park instead of another theme park. Have fun, I wish I was going to Star Wars weekends!

If you are only planning to have one water park or Disney Quest day you are much better off purchasing separate tickets.

If you buy the Water Parks Fun and More option to your MYW ticket it will cost $55.38 (including tax) per person, adult or child. It will add one WPF&M entry per day on the base or hopper ticket (but two entries on a one day ticket).

If you purchase one day water park or Disney Quest tickets they cost $47.93 adult and $41.54 child. If you are an Annual Passholder or DVC Member you can purchase one day water park tickets at an appoximate 10% discount.

This upgrade may be done at any Park (including water parks or TTC) ticket booth or Guest Relations Office. If it is on your room key it can also be done at the Resort Lobby Concierge.

(Note each person must have their own ticket. Even though it adds multiple entries to your ticket, you can only use one ticket for one person.)

Also, if you are planning to do three or more water park visits within a year there is a definite price advantage to purchase Water Park Annual Passes.

One is we will allow full value of the used WP ticket to upgrade to a WP AP as long as it is within 14 days of use.

The other, which is the only time combining tickets is allowed, is we will merge a used WP one day ticket with a MYW ticket to add the WPF&M option and only charge the difference in price.

So we could purchase the one day water park ticket and then if we decide to spend another day at the waterpark we can add the water park and fun option to our tickets for just the increase? I *think* we are only going to spend one day at TL but we do have one open afternoon so now DH is saying maybe we will end up going to TL again.

That's correct. If you think you might want to do this, be sure you save your used water park tickets and/or the receipt because they will need to see them to give you the credit when they add the water park option to your park tickets.

I have a very old (as in, non-expiry, plus benefit) theme park pass that still has one water park admission on it. Is this still valid? Does it have to be upgraded or anything to use for BB or TL this summer? Would it have any cash value towards upgrading our tix for this summer, like to offset the cost of adding hopping, or is it only good for a water park admission? I know, random questions... mostly just curious. We've had this ticket for maybe 10 years- so you can see how interested we are in water parks...

Yes, it is still valid. If it's new enough that it has a magnetic stripe and it will fit into the turnstyle, then you should be able to use it as is. If not, then you'll need to take it to guest relations and they'll transfer the entitlement to a ticket that will go through the turnstyle.

Partially used tickets are not upgradable, so you won't be able to get any credit toward a new ticket. You can upgrade unused pre-MYW tickets, but you'll only get credit for the price you originally paid for them. Since prices have gone up so much over the years it's almost always better just to use them as is, rather than try to upgrade them.

You can do it at the ticket counters or guest relations at the water parks, the other parks, or downtown disney. However the people at the water parks will probably be the most familiar with that sort of transaction and should be able to do it faster.

I definitely agree with Brett about it easiest to do at a water park window. I know that all of us at TL who sell tickets will, if the person is not sure, tell them about the availability of this procedure. Some of the people at the Theme Parks and Resort ticket locations are not aware of this policy.
