Poor Pluto!!!

DS10's absolute favorite character is Pluto. We went to Garden Grill last summer and had THE best time. Pluto nearly sat down and ate dinner with us! He loved my son in all of his Pluto gear and even signed his Pluto hat. It sits prominently on the post of his bed and he wears it regularly.

This is the deal. I think Pluto is treated like a second class citizen. He's part of the Fab 5, for crying out loud


It is rare that we can find anything Pluto at the Disney Store. Even at the gigantuan World of Disney at Downtown Disney....hardly anything at all!!!

We're going again in August. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we can find Pluto stuff? Any other locations, other than Garden Grill (we have an ADR there!), where we can see him?

I feel your pain. As you can see by my screen name, I'm a huge Pluto fan. I even wear a gold one around my neck. I agree about the lack of decent Pluto merchandise in the parks right now.

I just returned earlier this month and did see a few things, but mostly just plushes and stuff, which I already have.

I have a collection of Pluto coffee mugs, but haven't seen a new one in over 2 years. As an adult female I'm always discouraged that there never seems to be a shirt (not a t-shirt) with Pluto on it.

We saw Pluto at both the 'Ohana character breakfast and Chef Mickey's last week. He may also have been in the group that was doing greetings around the hat at HS.

Pluto fans unite, indeed!! Someone start a website already!! Yes, Pluto is definitely treated as a second class citizen and I'm sick of it! In fact, a few weeks after our February trip, I posted about the lack of Pluto merchandise (mainly apparel) in the parks. Where are they hiding it? I was hoping to come home with a Pluto tee-shirt or a sweatshirt. I found a TODDLER tee in the World of Disney store in DD (and of course those Pluto hats that are everywhere), but that's it. I came home with another Pluto mug that I have added to my collection of other Pluto mugs. Not much of a collection, actually. There's only three. I also have a few Pluto Christmas ornaments and a few stuffed dolls, but that's about it.

I had to take matters into my own hands and design my own Pluto tees and sweatshirts.

Pluto has been "my baby" ever since I was five and my uncle brought me back a stuffed Pluto from WDW. I'm 37 now, I still have that stuffed Pluto and he's still my baby. I don't even refer to him as "Pluto". Now and forever, he'll be my baby. My DS had jumped on the Pluto bandwagon as well.
