All caught up. Love the parade pics, haven't gotten to see all of that one yet. Seemed parades weren't on the kids radar this time. We truly love HM. Wish we would have seen CoP. Just another reason to go back. Looking forward to your updates, especially the epcot day since we may have crossed paths (and not known it)?!

Great parade shots. I just love the parades. I will watch them over and over if my family would let me. Funny though, back when I took the 2 older ones, we never watched them, except Spectro.

just wanted to drop by and say hello really quick...
I hope everyone has a great weekend...we have been busy with graduation parties and dinners...

but for today wanted to share in our excitment...

Dayne is GRADUATING tonight!
we are so happy and so proud of him and cannot wait to see what paths he will chose now that he able to so on his own..we just hope we instilled a good sense of the future and what he thinks he would like to do...​

Terrific update, Connie. Love the parade pics--I do love Disney parades. Ashton did look a little tired, but he sure was enjoying that ice cream.

He was getting tired( but my no nap child was pushing it) and yes he was enjoying his strawberry bar...but, you know after I posted this I realized he did not have another one the entire trip

Aw, I can hear that parade music in my head now...it's a good one! You got some really great pics again, too! Ashton looks so excited.

We rode HM at night with no line which is great except we missed all the tombstones and stuff...the boys probably would have enjoyed those. Glad Ashton liked them and the ride!

Hey Kayce! WOW riding HM at night we were looking forward to riding a few things at night that just did not happen...I bet it gives it a different feel.

We were in the front and you know we were only about one family thick in the area we were in...when you look at the pictures of the crowd across the street that is how it was in the area where we were...

HI! Ashley welcome over...Thanks for following along! Parades were not that high on Ashton's list he perked up for this one when he had seen the Genie and the Toy Story characters...it was usually nap time by 3 pm...

Yes, Leanne time flies and our babies grow quick! I have been slapped hard with that reality this past weekend with Dayne's graduation...we need to always remember to enjoy them while they are young it does fly by! Dayne brought his school file home yesterday and it had a picture of him glued to the front from Kindergarten just too cute!

Thank you! They seemed to understand why I was upset and it really did not happen again; so, it was not bad...I LOVE the runaway train...too!

Stephanie! it was a great location...I had read about it on Lisa's (mickeystoontown) they had stood there last year and she too said how thin the crowds were it was great!

Yes, we are very proud that he has made it this far! and now we do look forward to his next step!!! I just hope he stays on track...I think with him working with Danny over the summer it will not be a problem...they should be so ready to move on with in two weeks after they start

Hi Connie! Congratulations to Dayne on his graduation! That is wonderful! Also, I loved your parade pictures! We missed that parade and I kept trying to tell myself it was okay, but now I'm really sad we didn't get to see it!

Another side note - do you think they came up with "Grand Gatherings" as a way to help ease some of the pain of travelling with large groups??

First off, CONGRATULATIONS to Dayne!!!! That's wonderful!!

I'm loving your last few updates!!! We didn't get to see a parade last year, it was too, too hot in the afternoons, the pool breaks always won. So I enjoyed your pics. We'll have to make sure we do see it in sept though. At least we'll have the boo to you parade at MNSSHP!!!

I left off with Danny meeting up with us after the parade...while watching the parade we had decided we wanted a soft serve ice cream...so, on the hunt we went. We decided to bypass Frontierland (all the crowds from the parade were going that way is seemed) so we cut through and were on our way to Adventureland... we were next to the Enchanted Tiki Room when dad found a strawberry slush for him and mom, Danny went to find the smoking section , Ashton and I decided to ride Aladdin's Magic Carpet ride!

We did not visit the Tiki room (now that I think about it I'm sure Ashton would have thought it a hoot--but, I sat through it with daddy and I back in 2001 and just did not feel up to it that day)...so, we were off to meet up with a few dirty pirates...
(just in case anyone noticed--my hair was nasty on this trip...I cannot stand to wear a hat and my hair is soooooo thin that my head gets sunburned pretty quick...so, I had taken to spraying it with sunscreen...well, no sunburn...but nasty hair
next time I think I'm going to find me a bucket hat like Ashton to wear and just go with it...no really I found out after the trip that Redken has come out with sunscreen for the scalp...I can't wait to find it and give it a try!)
