Tony's Town Square???

We went last December. We didn't have very high hopes for it based on some of the reviews but an ADR was available and fit our schedule. We really liked it. We will be going back at some point.

It's pretty standard Italian. Think Olive Garden at Disney. It's also very loud and we've always had to wait at least 20 minutes to get in even when we're right on time for ADRs. We most likely won't be going there again.

We ate supper there back in January. I had the NY strip steak, which was superb. The potatoes served with it were poor, but the greens were seasoned well and very enjoyable. DW had the spaghetti and meatballs, which she said was OK but nothing to shout about. The bread they served with both meals was also very good.

The atmosphere was kind of loud (duh, it's in MK), so it's not like a peaceful setting or anything

My family and I enjoy Tony's. We will be dining there next month when we are in WDW.

We weren't bothered by the noise, but the food was absolutely disappointing. We probably won't be returning.

Tony's Town Square is decent, but it's not really a destination dining experience. It's biggest asset is its location and convenience. It's nice not needing to leave the park for your meal, especially if you're on a tight schedule. But the food is mostly lackluster and forgettable. It's just overpriced pasta. The restaurants at the Magic Kingdom resorts are considerably better.

We really liked Tony's the first time we went. I mean it isn't over the top Italian food, but it was good....it served it's purpose. We are going back there in September on our very last day before we head back to the airport. If you can snag a table outside right as the afternoon parade is about to start, then that is a huge plus :goodvibes

I would skip it. I had the spaghetti & meatballs and it had very little sauce on it. Plus it didn't taste that good. The dessert was good (ice cream bomb), but I definitely didn't think it was anything special. I won't be eating here again.

we went to tony's last year, we did have to wait for a while but it was really good and was probably one of the best disney restaurant meals we had in terms of food quality.

Tony's is a "must do" every trip for us. I love having lunch there. The food is nothing fancy but it's always good. My favorite dessert in all of WDW is served here - pistacchio creme brulee.

DH and I ate there about 11 years ago, the night we got engaged. I remembered the food being great, but when we returned 2 years later with DS, we were disappointed. From the looks of the ratings, it depends on what type of food you are looking for. If I go back again, it will be for the memories that we had there.

Well said. This sums up our thoughts on it perfectly. We would rather grab sandwiches at the Contempo Café in the CR and walk to the MK. Less money, less time.

Nice service, and as said before it is convenient. Unfortunately, it is very loud and all the meals are quite heavy. I picked the "light" fish meal which came with a plate full of orzo. Make sure you are very hungry and enjoy pasta!

I would skip it. Food was terrible. :sad2:
I would much rather grab a meal at one of the resorts (like Kona) or a great sandwich at the Plaza if you need a TS meal.

Seafood Diavolo

Just a couple of pictures from our December trip. Everyone in our party thought the meals were pretty good. Spectacular? No. But decent? Yes.

I thought my pasta was overcooked for my taste but next time I will ask for it al dente. I was so full after the chicken I really did not miss the pasta (it really was too mushy for me).

There are other pictures of our meals all 6 on my blog (link in my signature) under dining reviews on the right side of the page.

Hope this helps some. :)

We were there the first week of May and the food was pretty good. I had the chicken parm & it is fine - not dry, just enough sauce. My husband had the seafood dish & thought that it needed more sauce. My daughter had the mickey ravoli & that can with a lot of sauce - not dry at all. The desserts were very yummy!! We had a 5:30 reservation and only had to wait about 10 minutes.

I really liked my meal at Tonys. I had some sort of shrimp pasta dish. My dh didn't care for his much though, he had the chicken parm.......not bad per say just not great. I would give it a shot if I were you......you can't beat the location :thumbsup2

Take care!
