Any recommendations on helicopter tours please and which option you chose.

Last time we did the balloon tour so would like to surprise hubby and kids with the helicopter tour this time.

Many thanks :thumbsup2

We did the one on I-Drive next to where Race Rock used to be.
It was quite interesting and went close to US and IoA, Seaworld, Aquatica and came back down the 4.
As I remember though it was quite expensive but for that we got loads of pics and was able to take plenty of video while we were up there.
The helicoptor itself is only a 3 seater and there was 4 of us - but that worked out to our advantage as they charged us all to go up once, then let the kids go up for free on the second trip (first trip with Mum second trip with me :thumbsup2)
I don't know what route any of the others take, or the prices, but I guess it would be worth checking that out first to make sure you get to see some interesting sites.
Some of our pics from the trip on in my trip report in my sig - Feb 2009

We used this one, we had nothing planned we just drove and and dd treated us all, It was good fun but a few years ago so cant mind much of the details sorry, I do remember having to tell them my wt so they could sit us all evenly, also we had headphones on so we could speak to each other.

Have fun.

That sounds a bit like our trip, ps your location has me interested.

At this moment in time I am about 150 miles off Aberdeen - flew out on Wednesday afternoon.

Ah, on the rigs then, have fun.
I thought maybe you sailed or something.
You will be on helicopters a lot then, an expert i would imagine.

I looked at this last year, but we ended up not doing it - just got caught up in the rest of the trip and totally forgot. Now that you have all reminded me, I may take a look into it. Thanks.
