The July (2010) Plan needs Pixie Dust: DVC, Minivan & Twins Included

After a nap or pool time or both, it is time to continue to go, go, go...

It is a Hollywood Studio night with late hours! We have plenty of time to make it over to the park since we have a late ADR at

scifi2.jpg

We have not eaten here yet, but yet it is one of my daughter's top restaurant choices of the World...Obviously, atmosphere is high on her priority list. :thumbsup2

I am a bit nervous about this ADR since I've heard mixed reviews. Mostly, I've heard that burgers and milkshakes are a safe choice. We are paying for this one oop.

After Sci Fi - We will hit the best attractions (with fast passes hopefully): Tower of Terror, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Toy Story Mania (FP - hahahahahaha- only if we hit the park in the am for the sole purpose of obtaining them.)

I also would like to do The Great Movie Ride...I think we did the gangster side; I want to ask to do the other (but I wouldn't mind the gangster side again - maybe we will ride it twice!)

Star Tours will be a must do. My girls really enjoyed it and we have to ride it a couple times before the refurb. Backlot Tours - it was recently refurbed- with rumors of it disappearing... Muppets 3D - :3dglasses not loved by my daughters - but certainly a favorite of my DH- bonus- it too was refurbed.

New Explorations for me on this trip - The Magic of Disney Animation, One Man's Dream, and The Writer's Stop (I am an English teacher - I can't believe I missed this before! Since I love coffee...perfect except I will have to check Deb's list (allears.net) to see if they serve real coffee or the Disney version that is less than magical!)

We might have to visit Gertie's also for ice cream treats for my ice cream lovers! :yay:

My son LOVES One Man's Dream -he is a big fan of Walt - a lot of cool memorabilia. There is also a film on Walt's life - it is worthwhile, and a good opportunity to sit down and cool off.

Animation is another great attraction. Make sure you sit through the "show" - it is really cute. Inside they have a lot of interactive things to do. In March, we did the "Drawing with a Disney Artist" for the first time. You do have to wait for that one, but it was a LOT of fun. We got to draw Pooh - one of my DD's favorites!

The shirts look great! Those boys will love them. I made 3 sets of matching shirts for the 5 of us last year. Even my teenagers were willing to wear them! I did the tie dye Mickey heads and we got tons of compliments on them! I wish I could put in a picture but I don't know how :confused3. If you look really closely, you can see that my kids have them on in the picture in my signature.

I don't see a pic in your signature. :confused3 I love the tie day shirts - I don't think I am that talented. Iron on transfers seem my speed.
To post a pic you need to upload to a site like photobucket. Once the picture is loaded, you just find the IMG code. You can copy it and put it directly in your post.

I am really looking forward to these. I can't wait to see what character we draw. Did you frame any of your drawings?

Welcome - glad you joined me!!!! I am a bit long winded sometimes... so congrats to catching up quickly. (I always read TR in one sitting.)

Glad someone is patiently waiting. :rotfl: Don't know that I can even come close to your fabulous food report. I promise to include some food porn though! I do promise to post pictures of the rooms though. I can give you three DVC options for when you have to decide which to call home. :cloud9:

I'm here and I'm joining in! :cool1:

It'll probably take me a while to catch up. But here are some of my thoughts about what I've read so far.

First, your girls are adorable! I have this feeling that when I'm ready to have kids, I'll have twins. I don't know how to explain it, but it's just this gut feeling I have. I'm going to be the worst pregnant person EVER (medical stuff grosses me out...they tested my iron by pricking my finger at the doctor a few months ago and I passed out because blood=gross) so getting 2 for 1 would be great.

Secondly, I'm looking at your picture from Coronado...I didn't know that you could see Everest from the resort. That is so cool!

Alright, off to finish catching up!

:goodvibes Welcome Kara!

:yay::yay::yay: I am always excited to have a new reader! (Does that sound desperate? :rolleyes1)

Thanks for the compliment - they aren't so adorable right now - they are arguing. Actually, they are kind of funny because one just said "Duh" to the other. (Very inappropriate and if they knew I could hear them, I'd have to step in. As it is though, I'll let them work through this one.)

I was an awful pregnant person bc I had such a hard time with food smells. I couldn't go to the supermarket. Chicken became my enemy. (It became my friend again after the girls were born.) I always wanted to be a twin. I read the Sweet Valley High books as a tween and loved them (you are probably too young, but they might still publish them.)

I noticed Everest today for the first time in my pics. (I am so observant. :rolleyes1) I was pretty shocked. I didn't notice it at the resort.

Ok, so I'm late too! But I'm in now.

We'll be in WDW at the same time so I hope to see you in line someplace!

:yay: Welcome - glad you are here- certainly not too late. We still have sixty some days until our trips!

I will have to figure out how to display my LGMH! Maybe we will pass on the road...we are driving too. (I saw you at the 2,000 mile forum.)

I'm here! Love your report so far!

 Glad you are here and enjoying! Talk to you soon!

I'll have a new post tomorrow. (uh, I mean later today...I had a friend over. We talked so late, I am catching up on the computer now. :upsidedow)

Okay - I saw this picture and had to share.
P05-0004.JPG

It was posting on Laughingplace.com - it is under the construction wall. Poor Piglet!!!

I saw a picture of the tree moved near the Pooh ride, but I didn't spot Piglet. Maybe he is on the other side.

(As I type this, I am listening to my new free Disney downloads! One a day for 50 days! If you don't know, you have to "like" Walt Disney Records (50 days of Disney Music) on Facebook. More info: Visit: http://www.disneymusic.com)

Day 4

Early Magic Hour day at MK but I am not sure if we will make it due to our late night at HS.This will be one of those wait and see situations.

We have a late breakfast planned for 1900 Park Fare. This is DH's favorite breakfast spot. He thinks the food here is superior to Chef Mickey's and Tusker House (the only other breakfast buffets we've done.)

This is the last night at AKV, so we might take it easy and enjoy a pool this afternoon. I guess we could say this could be a non-park day. ;) (Only day though!)

For the evening, we will head over to Epcot for our Teppan Edo Ressie and some EMH late night exploring.

Ooooh, I love the behind the scenes picture.:thumbsup2 Your plan looks great. We have never been to Tusker House. It gets a lot of good reviews. I couldn't find where the free downloads were. I might have been looking in the wrong place though.

I used my DH's to see what you should do...type in WALT DISNEY RECORDS in the search bar at the top of your page. The avatar is rainbow and says 50 days of Disney Music.

You haven't missed too many. You can download one a day, burn a cd and load them on your ipod before heading to the World. You should have around 34 free songs - give or take depending on other tasks - like packing... LOL:thumbsup2

That picture of Piglet is so sad!! I hate to see change sometime, I wish they could just add on with taking away.

We are going to try 1900 Park Fare for breakfast this July - I am really glad to hear the good review about it! So far, Crystal Palace had been favorite - I am anxious to see how it compares.

When at our hotel, I can't help but have the TV on to have Stacey in the background. Her voice and the music of the top must do's are another reminder that I am home!

Here are Hannah's Five Best Things about Disney World:

5. Fireworks
4. Expedition Everest
3. Space Mountain
2. Big Thunder Mountain
1. Sci Fi and Tower of Terror (She has never been to Sci Fi -)

Emma's Five Best Things about Disney World:

5. The hotels- how they make the beds and how they design the rooms
4. Fireworks
3. Pools
2. Restaurants
1. Rides

I know what you mean - we just have to have Stacy on the TV at the resort!! She is part of the Disney experience!! We lucked out in March, even though we were staying off-site at the Buena Vista Suites - they had a "Stacy" channel because they are considered a "good neighbor hotel".

hey, enjoyed your updates, cool gift for the 2 boys, i'd love to make a t shirt but making the countdown calendar wassuch a production!

I loved sweet valley!!!:cool1: read them all, elementary, middle school, high school some uni and then some new versions of high school! we have three sets of twins in our dancing, so different from just regular brothers and sisters, the sisters I know love to see each other doing well but hate being beat by the other sister too, complicated!

i'm with emma on the best rides at Disney list, really can't wait! loved all the pictures too, the one of Sci-Fi looked so big, although I've been before but can't remember all the details, our next visit is in about 57 days! saw a portion of the onion rings on someones trip report...mmm!
