Due to the new dining review rules, and the time limit on them, Ill just be posting a short rundown of all my meals. I will be doing full reviews on a blog I started, and you are all welcome to read and comment there.
Launching Pad - Had a cream cheese-stuffed pretzel for a snack here on our first day, it was good, and held me over until dinner that night.
Pecos Bills - We had dinner here our first night, I tried one of the new angus burgers, the deluxe one, with cheese, bacon, onion rings, and bbq sauce, which was by far the best CS burger Ive ever had, especially with the added benefit of the toppings bar. My dad had the chicken Caesar salad and was happy with it.
Everything Pop - I had a breakfast pizza here our first morning, which ended up being my only breakfast of the trip. It was just as good as I remembered from past trips.
Flame Tree BBQ - We both had the ribs here, and split an order of onion rings. The ribs came with coleslaw and baked beans, and all of it was good.
Fultons Crab House - I had dinner here alone our second night. I am so glad I finally got to try this place. The crab boursin was excellent, the regular bread was really good too. For my entrée I had the seafood trio, which was a crab cake, shrimp, and wahoo. All of the seafood was well seasoned, and cooked perfectly, served with mashed potatoes, which I thought were good, but a little salty, and two dipping sauces, one was horseradish, the other was citrusy. The service was excellent here as well.
Goofys Candy Company - I got the German chocolate cookie, which was really good, and actually lasted me a couple of days.
Tangerine Café - We split the lamb wrap and the chicken wrap, both were good, I liked the lamb better though. The cous cous was delicious as always, and the lentils were fine, but not something I really enjoy.
Sunshine Seasons - I had the beet and goat cheese salad which was wonderful, tasty beets and cheese, lots of pecans, and plenty of dressing. My dad really liked the seared tuna salad, and the Asian beef and lo mien noodles were good too, the broccoli with it however was pretty raw. I also had the strawberry shortcake, which was really good.
Min & Bills - I had the chicken Caesar sandwich, which is half a roll stuffed with Caesar salad. It was edible, but way too much dressing, and barely any chicken, had it had slightly less dressing, and some more chicken, it couldve been very good.
Starring Rolls - I had a fruit tart, which was really good, full of lots of fresh fruit, and the crust was tasty too.
Farifax Fare - I had the salad, which was basically a taco salad. It was good, everything was fresh. Considering it was Studios CS I was very happy with it.
ABC Commissary - The Asian salad was really good, very fresh, and had some pickled ginger and endamame in it, which made it a little different then the usual.
Everything Pop - Had chili cheese fries for a snack this night after getting back from Fantasmic. They were good, exactly what you would expect.
Louies - Louies is an Italian CS restaurant at Universal Studios. I had a slice of vegetable pizza and a side Caesar salad. The salad was all right, fresh, but I thought the dressing was a little bland. The pizza was pretty good compared to Disney's pizza, but not the greatest.
Croissant Moon Bakery - I had the chocolate-peanut butter diamond. It was really good, light creamy peanut butter mousse, completely covered in chocolate ganache. It was too rich to finish all of it however.
Panda Express - Had dinner here the night we spent in Universal. Had the honey-walnut shrimp and the orange chicken, with lo mien and spring rolls. I liked all of it except the spring rolls. And it was a good deal at $10, (including a drink,) it was a lot of food, and easily enough for two people.
TCBY - Got a blueberry frozen yogurt cone before walking back to the resort. It was good.
Mythos - Ate lunch here the day we spent at Islands of Adventure. We had the shrimp sushi appetizer, which we both really liked, and then I had the fire and ice wrap, which was kind of bland, and my dad had the salmon, which he was very happy with. He said this was his favorite meal of the trip.
Captain Cooks - I had dinner here after going back to Disney our last night. I had the grownup grilled cheese, which was good, but a little too hard around the edges, so I didnt eat the crust. The chips with it were really good.
Main Street Bakery - Stopped here after Wishes for some treats. The banana bread pudding was not good, probably the worst thing I had all week, the cinnamon roll was awesome though.
Crystal Palace - Had lunch here as our last meal. Everything we tried was really good, our favorites being the salmon, steak, Mediterranean chicken, and the garlic mashed potatoes.
