We used to live in Houma, transplanted to Luling for job/school reasons.

brandip22, we usually drive thru all the way, but if we do stop we stay in Tallahassee to get about 8 or 9 hours behind us.

Finally a little lovin' for the Saints on the boards!!

That was a terrific win for the Saints, for New Orleans, and for Louisiana.

I'm happy to find this thread. I had hoped to find fellow Louisiana DVCers for trades, get-togethers and fun!

We're from Baton Rouge... representing the Purple & Gold with pride at Dis! We're owners at BLT and currently going through the ROFR nail-biting period with another resort. We were just submitted, so it will be a month or so before we know for sure.

We just went last week and will be heading down again in October. We *may* also try to sneak in a spur-of-the-moment trip if we can get availability for the end of May. Gotta see how son's finals at LSU go first. It's been a rough semester for him.

MonorailPurple&Gold, hubby just saw your signature and asked, "Why didn't we buy at Polynesian Resort instead of BLT?!" Wouldn't that be awesome if they really did have villas there? I'd be first in line... or maybe second (after you).

Another BR DVC'er here!

We are headed to AKL May 15 - 22. We haven't stayed there before and are really looking forward to a new adventure. We have a 1bdrm, Kidani, savanna view.

I think we'll head to HH after Christmas and bring along some family

My husband is talking about going to Eureka Springs in the fall. It might be a nice change of pace. I, of course, would be happy to visit WDW again. Stay tuned..........

Of course Petal, MS counts. We beat you by 1 year as season ticket holders.....it's 25 years for us. We'll just miss you in December. We arrive on the 5th.

Hey guys! To the BR folks- I am in Watson (Denham) and teach in BR! Small world, huh? We'll be down May 22-29 in AKV Kidani in a 1 BR as well. Can't wait to go to my favorite home!

Hi Brandip22,

I will be at the AKL during your same time. May 25-29 before moving to SS for a couple of days. We are staying in the Jambo House though. Last year we were lucky enough to snag a concierge studio there and stay for a 3-week visit at the various DVC resorts.

I am from Monroe and will have 3 grandkids along.

I'm actually from Monroe, but moved down here when we got married in 2000. Oh, and we just switched to SSR to be in a 2BR! SSR was the only one available so late, but that's ok.
