Food Court in the Value Resort

For a food court it's not too bad. Would I want to eat there more than say 2 meals at most during my two week vacation - NO!

When I wasn't a vegetarian I enjoyed the breaded chicken and alfredo pasta with breadstick (extra alfredo so it's not dry), chicken strips and the caesar salad. My husband enjoys the greek salad and I have heard good thing about the flatbreads.

We eat there often and love it. I haven't had anything that wasn't good. I do love the chicken alfredo and the make your own pastas. DD19 loves the pizza. When we do the DP and do the TS meals, she usually doesn't like too much of that food and wants to get pizza when we get back to the resort! :lmao: For breakfast, we love the Mickey waffles. My least favorite food would be biscuits and gravy but it's still not something I wouldn't order again. I'd still eat it!

There is a wide selection at POP, something for everyone. We ate most breakfasts here and a couple of other meals. What we had we enjoyed. If you just want a snack there are plenty of choices for that too.
Drink choices with the refill mug were very good also.

I personally think the foorcourt at POP is the best resort foodcourt I have been to. Its large and has tons of choices. We generally get something quick there our first day because we are starving and then a breakfast or two. I always get the chicken noodle bowl which is really just chicken noodle soup but its got tons of noodles and I love it. DD generally gets some sort of italian and always likes it. No complaints from us other than the often dirty seating area... and the crazy unsupervised kids we seem to attract like magnets but we seems to run into that most places....

Breakfast is good. A platter has a lot of food and we shared.

Think we might have grabbed a sandwich or two there. Nothing bad or great.

You should find plenty to choose from. My DH and I would split the big breakfast platter and then at lunch would split one of the cibata turkey sandwiches (very yummy!) (we were on the dining plan) ... we'd do this the days that we spent hanging around the pool.

It was a bit overwhelming when you first visit the food court, but you do get the hang of what is there and how to find things; after a time or two you can get in and out fairly quick.

We were very pleased with the POP food court. Tons of choices, and portions large enough to share. We ate lunch at the food court almost everyday, and breakfast once or twice.

It looks like I'm the only one so far that did not care for the POP food court. While the food tasted good, it was a very hectic place.

We went this past weekend for breakfast twice. Both times I ordered 1 kid's Mickey waffle and 1 adult waffle. Several minute wait on the Mickey waffle. They only had 3 mickey waffle machines. The first day I waited for the kid's waffle, the 2nd day it was turning into a 6 minute wait so I just gave up and ordered DD an adult waffle. The first day I had to get in a different line to order a sausage/egg sandwich - again, a several minute wait, all the while the waffles are getting cold.

I went in for lunch once and ordered the Chicken Mediterranean flatbread and had to wait 6-8 mins for that. Again it was very good, but the wait was a bit long.

I guess if you just order what you physically see sitting in the case in front of you, you won't have to wait. I also personally didn't care for the separate stations for different foods. Why have the waffle and pancake lines separate?

This was my first stay on-site, so maybe this is just the norm at Disney. We shared an elevator with another couple and they commented about how crazy the food court area was also. Perhaps if you go at 'off' times it's not too bad.

i think i would prefer the wait- at least I know its fresh.

the stuff that is sitting in the cases-- do they have codes on them to tell you how old

Mom's Night Out, buttermilk fried chicken :thumbsup2 We always get it at least once a trip.

We stayed at POP in Dec:santa:. DH and I ate most of our meals for 1/2 of our trip at the food court because DS6 was sick.

Chicken Mediterranean Flatbread : DH and I both had this twice and loved it.
Chicken Caesar Salad : Was kind of "meh"..soggy with processed chicken.
Turkey Ciabatta : I had this twice and loved it.
Asian Chicken Salad : DH had this and thought it was just ok.
Cheesesteak Wrap: DH had this twice and it was cold and greasy both times.
Meatball Sub with Salad: This was nasty...the sauce was ick and the meatballs had a weird texture.
Beef and Broccoli : DH loved it...keep in mind that he would eat bad chinese food out of a dirty sneaker and like it. :scared:
Nachos Supreme: DH had this twice (much to my dismay:rolleyes1) and loved them.
I also had the kids cheesburger and it was excellent.

Everything we had for breakfast (POP Waffle, Chocolate Chip pancakes, breakfast platter, pastries) was excellent.
As far as the infamous Tie-dyed cheesecake- Kids liked it, DH loved it, I thought it was gross.

:)HTH

which is served on the night I am asking for.

We have a very early flight---6:45am. Gonna do a park when we arrive and leave about 3pm. Figured dinner at the food court this night so we can get to bed early.

We love the value food courts, I think Pop was our favorite followed closely by Music. I love the turkey dinner served at most of the food courts, its big and very tasty. I also loved the parmesan crusted chicken dinner and the cheesesteak wraps, had both many times, very good. Dh and my girls love the burger and rarely eat anything else!

I love the Pop Century Food Court. It does get busy but come one look at how many rooms are there. you are on vaca so chill and enjoy!! The food is yummy. Enjoy and have a great vaca

We were there last summer. I had the chicken alfredo penne pasta or whatever it is called and it was fantastic and huge. DH had the fish sandwich. He said it was very good also . I think it was halibut or something. We both had ice cream sundaes for dessert which DH declared the "best deal for the money at WDW"!! I think it was 3 scoops of ice cream, a ton of whipped cream, a topping and some sprinkles.

As with most counter service spots its all about managing expectations. It is typical food court food. Notthing is exceptionally bad but it is notspectacular either. I didnt find anything to avoid or that stood out more than others. Just an avg. experience.
