Has anyone bought these shoes? How are they? Do they work? Would you wear them to Disney?

If this is not the right area for this please move, I applogize. I was thinking it would be a Disney tip as to what to wear and not to wear.

I haven't worn them personally, but my mom does. She says they are a little strange to get used to at first but after a while it's no big deal. The first couple weeks her legs were sore but now she says she doesn't notice anything. What got her the most was that they kept her off balance (which is how they shape up your muscles I guess) so that took some getting used to.

i bought a pair last friday & love them ...i wear them to work on my feet for atleast 8 hrs & there comfy the word from the other nurses that have them love them too!!! i just hope now i can find them in there sandal form before we leave for disney!!!

I LOVE the Sketcher Shape Ups! I have 2 pairs and I have worn them all over WDW. Thay are great! I have multiple foot problems - flat feet, nerve damage - and these are the most comfortable things I have ever worn; even better than Crocs. If I had my choice, I'd get rid of all my other shoes and wear them all the time! :cloud9:

I am wearing the FitFlops right now. So far, so good. The Skechers version of tone-ups fit me weird. And the Skechers tennis shoe did, too. Although I really wanted to try them.

Those type of shoes would be ideal for the line standing at Disney. They help with my lower back issues.

I just bought my Shape Ups three days ago and love them. I wear them constantly and are really comfy. I've been wearing them for 8-10 hours a day just to see if they would be good for Disney. I think they'd be fine from a comfort point of view, but possibly too hot on the feet in Florida weather. I love the idea of Fit Flops but gosh they are ugly!

Oh gosh....after I posted I thought to myself, here I am talking about how ugly Fit Flops are and my profile pic is of my huge ugly Disney crocs :rotfl:

I have plantar facitis and this is the only shoe that makes my feet feel good. They recommend you don't wear them for 20 minutes at a time for the first week or so. Break them in before you go. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Definitaley worth the price.

Do you think I could comvince my DH to get a pair. He is AWAYS having issues with his feet hurting. I can walk for hours but he can only do about 1/2 hour bits at a time or less or he starts to complain about his feet hurting. Not his legs but his feet.

He is over 6 foot and heaver than he would like to be.... But he has started to work out! Koodos to him! But I don't think that is the issue because he had the problem even when he was 190 pounds....

I too have plantar facitis and these are the only shoes that I do not feel constant pain in. I can walk faster and stronger than I have for quite a while. Also I think my hips and thighs are feeling more toned - maybe this is wishful thinking but a nice added bonus :rotfl2:

I've had mine for about 2 months and wear them to work. I am a nurse and always on my feet at work. They are the best! :yay:

I have extremely severe Plantar Fasciitis in both feet and my Podiatrist recommended MBTs which is the original company that did this "rocking" design. I have been wearing them for over a year and they have been great for my heels but since they don't come in wide I was having other problems.

I just bought a pair of the Sketchers to get wider shoes and I am LOVING them! Amazing for taking the pressure off of my heels. I am able to be on my feet for probably double what I could (which was only about 20 minutes). But I have been getting questions from people about if I like my "Shape Ups". I have to laugh and tell them I am wearing them for Orthopedic reasons and not for the Shape Up reasons-- then explain my story and tell them I have been wearing these types of shoes for over a year -- then I turn around and say "And does it look like my butt is in better shape?" :lmao:

I don't think Sketchers will be hiring me any time soon for their advertising!!!

I just bought a pair 2 days ago because I've been having hip/leg pain from my running - I haven't taken them off since I bought them! I love them! They aren't the most beautiful shoes I've ever worn, but they are super comfy and I feel like they are helping my "problems". I am planning on wearing them to Disney next month!
