Since I will be staying for 2 weeks this year, those little travel bottles of shampoo and conditioner wont do, unless i want to buy like 8 of them(long hair), i thinking of just buying a regular size bottles...

any one have suggestions of what brand, obviously it has to have mega mostiruizer since i will be out in the sun alot. I dont want my hair to dry out....

I found this stuff from herbal essences its purple swirly and its called hydralishous (SP?) its great, i have longish hair and dont even need the condish.

I love Aussie 3-minute miracle. I've purchased it more than 5x in a row which is a record for me! :thumbsup2

Why don't you just use the shampoo and conditioner provided in the hotel? We didn't take any shampoo/conditioner with us last year. There were four of us in the room and we were showering several times a day so mousekeeping brought us a large bag of the shampoo and conditioner bottles. I don't know what type of shampoo/conditioner is offered in the values and moderates but the stuff in the deluxes is great. It is the H20 brand.

A while ago I bought some empty travel bottles from either Target or CVS, I can't remember, but they are a good size. They're bigger than the regular travel size shampoo, but still small. I know it would last me 2 weeks. It's also been great because I can just fill them with my regular shampoo and conditioner and not have to buy anything extra.

Be aware that if you are flying you will have to put all shampoo, hair spray, etc in your checked baggage if the containers are over 3oz. each. For containers 3oz and under, many airports are requiring them to be put in one large ziplock bag and they must be removed from your carry-on bag to be individually screened at the security area.

adn we are not staying at a deluxe, i refuse to let my hair dry out by using the resort ones.... my hair needs the mositure in the florida heat

I would look into Lush.com, they sell solid shampoos and conditioners, so there's no need to worry about putting them into the baggies, they can go into checked luggage, don't need to be pulled out for inspection, etc.

But, you say you're not flying? I guess you're driving, then? Then why not just bring a big bottle of your everyday stuff? :confused3

because i need something with alot of moisture since i will be out in the sun and in cholrine, so i dont want my hair to dry out..

Fekkai, (I used to get them at bath & body works but I think they are even at target now) you use so little of the product that their starter kits (4oz apiece) would last two weeks with no sweat.

I usually carry the Hydralicious reconditioning shampoo (Herbal Essence). I still carry Johnson’s baby shampoo for the kids though :)

I second the Aussie stuff. DH and I use it twice a day when we're at the World and I haven't had any problems. Plus I love the smell, it reminds me of summer and Disney.
