Fellow DISers,

I was in walmart today and found this winnie the pooh umbrella stroller on sale for 18 US dollars!

These strollers are perfect for Disney World as they are light weight and small to fit in the trunk of rental cars. They also dont hog much space on the disney busses to and from the parks!!!

I asked the sales associate at walmart if this was just at this store or all stores. She said its a nation wide sale as Disney has stopped making this stoller. It was 39.99 last week when I saw it at walmart and target! :scared1::woohoo:

I could not find the stroller on walmart.com to provide further details on the stroller.

Happy shopping!

Perfect ~ no thanks unless your 5''2 or shorter, it looks like a stroller for a child to push their baby doll or stuffed animal around in. It also only has a waist belt ~ I prefer a shoulder harness. I assume it's cheaply made as well *won't last long ~ DD's Disney stroller is a Mac Volo - it has certainly paid for itself. After several DLR trips and WDW last Oct. it's still strollin' ;)

ditto the no thanks... besides the low handles and strap issue, there's no basket!!! or cup holder! that's a must-have for me!!! :)

Thanks for posting the deal OP - we aren't in the market for a stroller, but for $18, if you're just looking for one for the trip, definitely not a bad price and much cheaper than renting one onsite!

Maybe I'm just in a really optimistic mood right now, but I'm feeling a lot of negativity on the boards today. Guess that means it's time to take a break.

I couldn't agree more! I thought it was just me as I read the other posts that everyone was overly negative.

my apologies for being negative... although i've not felt that vibe here, my post should have at least contained a "thanks" to the OP for bringing such a good deal to our attention...

OP: first and foremost, thank you for posting, that is a good deal on a cute stroller :) and secondly, sorry for only seeing the downside of the product... 'twas not my intent! enjoy your weekend :)

I subsequently also apologize - I wasn't necessarily trying to call anyone out (not my intention) - I was reading several threads today (mainly not on Budget board) where snarkiness abounded (is that a word?), so perhaps my perspective was skewed. :flower3:

How awesome of you both to coment on the tone of your own posts! I was sure this was another harmless thread going south but it obviously isn't. I give you both major props.

OP, very cute stroller! Thanks for sharing.

Funny how something little can brighten your day! This thread just did that for me! It was nice to see what could have been thought of as negative to be turned into such a positive.

About the stroller, I love Pooh and I love a little umbrella stroller. I am in the minority I know though because I am pretty short (about 5'2") and always had such a tiny diaper bag that it could hang right off the handle and never have cared for the shoulder harness on anything! DS is 7 and it was just starting to come about when he was a baby so I am sure that is why I think that way! If I needed one I would be out and about shopping already!

I do have a mac quest also that I bought when he was 3 1/2 and really nothing can compare to it for an older child!!

we drive from pa... not alot of room in the car for a big stroller. I WAS GOING TO GET ONE THEN GIFT IT TO SOMEONE ON THE WAY OUT.
thanks for the great deal!

We got the stoller. Our son is 14 months and fits in it with LOTS of room to grow. I am 6 foot 4 and my wife is 5 foot 4, and I didnt notice any issues pushing it. Its not that cheaply made in my opinion. I think it would easily last our 10 day trip in July, and make it through plane changes and baggage claim. I guess the picture is deceitful because its actually a decent size stroller! My son refuses to put the shoulder harness on so the lap belts we found work the best.

No feelings hurt on this end by the earlier posters. But I appreciate the apologies! As a CM would say...... Have a magical day!
