My daughter went to F.I.T. in Manhattan. She interned for a while at this place and they kept her on as a full time employee, once college was over. She is more into the marketing (buying) part of fashion. (She switched mid way through college.)

Your daughter needs to get her foot in the door by being a go-fer for the people that are already doing pattern making. She will get to know the business and meet many people that way. So many have decided to change careers once they do this.

The only thing I like collecting are vacations!

WE are enjoying over a foot of snow here in SE PA. Is anyone else dreaming of a cruise and some warm weather? Who's ready for Christmas. This time last year we were at Disney World, oh I wish we were there now!! Christmas eve at the Osborn lights was really cool with the "snow" falling and the Christmas Carols playing.

Hi M and P's mom! Ahoy there! We are getting clobbered with our 2nd snow storm in 3 days...I am soooo ready for our cruise!!

We got 20" of snow on Saturday and are expecting 18-24 more inches over the next 24 hours and they just mentioned about more snow this coming week. My middle daughter had a air cast and crutches so no playing in the snow for her. We are trying to get her back on her feet so that we can go to Tampa on Feb 26th to compete in a gymnastics meet, not sure she will be able to do all 4 events. A bunch of gym friends were at a meet this past weekend, some got snowed in, in LancasterPA, and still had a good time, others were in Orlando and lucky enough to get a few extra days at Disney. Lucky them!! It has snowed for every single meet of ours this year, so who knows what The end of the month will bring.

In other news I reconnected with an old family friend on facebook and found out that our friend went from driving a police car to piloting a monorail!! He loves it! How fun!!!

Here in New York we are looking at more snow tomorrow. I am heading out on a cruise this weekend. I hope it is warmer than last months cruise I took down to the Bahamas. It was freezing.

I love Alice, it is my favorite. I enjoyed seeing it in 3D.

We are arriving at midnight the night before and staying at the hotel at the airport. What about you?

Castaway club members can book excursions on May 5th! Is anyone planning an excursion or Palo? We are thinking of the snorkling and dolphin trip at key west, and maybe parasailing or jet skiing at castaway. Would love to do brunch again at Palo. Totally yummy!!
