Shuttle ???- Buena Vista Suites ...

I know everyone will tell me that shuttles offsite are unpredictable and so on, but a shuttle is extremly important to us. We are trying to save $ and stay offsite this year and Buena Vista Suites has a great $88 deal with a full breakfast. This is a huge deal for us because there are 6 of us.
Does anyone have any info. on their shuttles? Our kids can probably make it all day at the parks, so we would be going from opening to closing on most days.
Or does anyone have any other offsite suggestions that can accomodate 6 and has a reliable shuttle?

We are also looking to save some $ and I am very concerned about the shuttle. We're going for 1 day in July before our cruise and while we want to save $, I am worried that the shuttle won't run often enough or there won't be enough shuttles and we'll get stuck waiting at the hotel in the a.m. to get to the MK. Is there anyone that has stayed here in the summer and can tell me about the shuttle service? Please help!

We are taking our car but will ride the shuttle whenever we can. We stayed there last October and were shocked at how nice it was for the money. We didn't use the shuttle so I can't speak to that but the reviews on trip adviser sound like it is reliable

I bet for what you save in breakfast for 6 you can easily rent a car if the shuttle isn't working for you. The breakfast is a full buffet with a chef making the pancakes while you wait. You will be very happy with this hotel.

Mommy of 4 ... i'd hate to even write ..b/c I don't have the answer to your quesiton, but I came on to find info on this very same thing and am also a mommy of 4 , family of 6 looking to save as much as I can on this trip and had the exact same questions as you did. Im gng to search some more and let you know, but if find it first can you please point the way for me.

Ok, here's what I found out!
I emailed Buena Vista Suites and they said they do not have the November schedule, but the current schedule has some busses not coming to pick up until after park opening. This may not work for us as we like to be at the parks before opening.
We may be going back to on-site.

hmmm thats not good. In my case its just me and DH. And he is so not an early bird, so not so much a problem for us, but did they say aprrox what time that is? I'm only visiting for two days before I hop aboard my cruise and yes time should be precious but we rather stay out late and sleep in a bit, since our kids will not be with us.

Just a thought, if you look at Mapquest, the hotel is very close to Epcot and not far from DTD or DHS either. You could consider using a taxi, even one way, to get there early in the mornings.

When we stay onsite, we usually spend at least $25-$30/day eating breakfast for the four of us. (Food court at a value). You can go to some of the taxi sites and get an estimate of what it would cost.

We are staying at Buena Vista Suites for spring break - although we will have a car, I can check the shuttle schedule then.

Mousesavers usually have a discount for Doubletree suites that would sleep six. That is most reliable shuttle next WDW. Now it not perfect but comes more times then the others.

Ok - just got back from a week at Buena Vista Suites - liked it very much - especially the breakfast buffet - awesome. I have the shuttle schedule as promised. It seems it changes every month, but I think it will basically be the same pattern. Some of the later returns might depend on park hours.

Yes, thank you so much for listing this! We are staying there in May, and since we saved so much money staying off grounds, we were debating whether or not to rent a car or do the shuttle. I still think we may rent a car- still deciding though.....

BVS also has a Facebook page where they will post their shuttle schedule as soon as it is available. They will also answer ant questions you have there. I have to say, their customer service is OUTSTANDING!
