Cross your heart we're going! Cross it!An Unexpected April Adventure! TR Started!!!!

Hi Everyone!! I hope you had a great weekend!!:goodvibes We had fun here! On Saturday, since Easter is next weekend...wow! I decided to finally put up some Easter decorations and we made some Easter crafts! The boys had a good time!:thumbsup2 We also made some yummy chocolate oatmeal cookies. (although, I was really good and only had a couple.;)) Then we decided to watch Aladdin as our Disney movie of the week. Believe it or not..this was actually my first time watching it!:rolleyes1 It's one of the boys favorites but for some reason or another I have always found something else to do when it was on. I'm glad I finally took the time to watch it this time...it's a really cute movie!:thumbsup2 Yesterday, we just spent some time outdoors. I had some raking I needed to finishing up and I'm so glad I did because it's supposed to rain here for the next few days:sad2: But...it's actually supposed to get into the 70's this weekend!! So happy about that!! Maybe we will be able to actually do our Easter egg hunt outside this year!:) Okay, so I babbled on long enough about our weekend.:upsidedow Time to get on with the important stuff!!!

Good Morning!!!:goodvibes The next couple of days are going to be busy here trying to get caught up on school work, etc. so I'm all ready for Easter Break! So, I thought I would try and squeeze in another quick update!! (I'm trying to get all planning updates done before Friday so I can start our 10 day countdown!!:yay:)

First some quick news--

*After reading on DisMomAmy's PTR about Fantasmic adding extra times to their April schedule. I decided to have a look and sure enough they added an extra Fantasmic for the night we are going to DHS!! YAY!:woohoo: Now, we just have to decide if we want to go to the early or late show?? Either way we are going to get more time in the park!!! Great news!!

*Just checked the crowd calendar for the week we are there again yesterday...still the same--6,5,6,6,4! It looks good to me! Last year I think they were all 8's and 9's.

*Since you can check Accuweather 15 days before your trip to get an idea of how the weather will be in Orlando when you are there, I decided to look yesterday and so far for the 12th and 13th, they are predicting Partly sunny for both days with a high of 83 and 80 degrees!!

Okay...enough news!;) Now, on to the fun stuff!! I decided to take a picture this morning of Noah's activity book for the plane, extra pages for Nick (he'll probably play his DS most of the trip:rolleyes:), my travel notebook, our list of where to find the characters for autographs and our mousekeeping envelopes.

Another fun activity I'm picking up for the plane is--
ScrabbleSlam.jpg

I thought it would give us something fun and different to do to pass the time!

Even though I haven't printed out my list yet...here are a few hidden Mickey's we will be on the look out for--
* In Mickey's Philharmagic- look for the cloud shadows on the table during Beauty and the Beast part
* IASW- Look on a vine between the giraffes on your left
* Pooh- Look on the radish marker in Rabbits garden
* Splash Mountain-check the stacked barrels on your right along the second lift.
*Soarin' --a blue balloon at the beginning of the Palm Springs scene, held by a man behind a golf cart at the far lower left.
* TOT- Look for water stains just left of a fuse box on the boiler room's left, just past where the queue divides.
* Fantasmic- The bubbles in the water screens, Pinocchio's bubble forms a Mickey's head, two others form his ears.
* Kilimanjaro Safaris-- Flamingo island

And....some fun finds to look for--

*"Well Howdy!" says a statue of Goofy every 30 seconds sitting in front of Tony's Town Square Restaurant.
* Lady and the Tramp paw prints in the sidewalk.
* Behind the castle is a fountain with Cinderella. If you bend down and look at the fountain, the crown on the back wall appears to crown Cinderella.
*sit on the stone ledge on the side of the castle, you will hear Stitch giggle and tell you to be quiet because he's hiding.
*If you're by the Haunted Mansion at night, look up at the top story right above the front door. If you watch it for a while, you'll notice a light pass by it and some shadows. It looks like 2 people are walking by with a lantern.
*Talking water fountains: Outside Mousegear shop, behind Innoventions West, near the restroom between Innoventions and HISTA Pavilion, and near the play fountain between Future World and World Showcase (left side of the big fountain in FW as you are walking toward WS).
*Check out the "Singing in the Rain" umbrella that is attached to one of the streetlights near the old Hunchback theater. Grab the umbrella and step on the black square embedded in the cement underneath it for a nice surprise! (DHS)
*On the path, as you walk to get to the FOLK, there is a bridge that you walk over. On the right hand side look over to the left, you will see what appears to be a waterfall. If you look closely, it is actually a dinosaur with the water coming out of his mouth. (AK)

(a few of them I got from Mickey Mom's PTR (thanks:)) We just never got around to looking for them last August.:sad2:)

Those are just a few we will be looking for...there really is soooo many!!

Oooohhh...I almost forgot!! I can do our online check-in on Friday!!!:woohoo: so excited!!!

Whoops, I guess it wasn't such a quick update after all!:rolleyes1 I just really wanted to finish sharing all our major planning stuff so Friday I can start our official countdown!! YAY!! Thanks for reading!:flower3:

OOH MY GOODNESS!! So many things to do in sooo little time!!

Woohooo for online check in on Friday! so exciting!!!!

I absolutely love your list of hidden Mickeys and things to look out for. Do you mind if I print it out for our trip? Even after 15 trips, I didn't know to look for some of the things on your list.

What is it about looking at other people's lists and pictures that get me all excited for our upcoming trip? I just love doing that.

I know...I'm so excited they added another Fantasmic show!!:woohoo: We still may go to the early one because we have an early character breakfast the next morning! But at least we'll be able to spend a little more time in the park afterward!! YAY!

UGH! Just after I posted yesterday, I went back and double checked the crowd calendar again and they raised our numbers a little....not too bad but still....:rolleyes1 Oh well! We managed last year the week of Easter so we'll roll with it!;)

We're excited to try scrabble slam!! It looks fun!:goodvibes

I love those hidden secrets! I'll be looking for some of them. :thumbsup2

Yay for online check-in!! :banana::banana:

:woohoo: for online check-in!! Can't wait! We had really good luck with it last year! Both times, we walked up and our stuff was ready and waiting for us. Hopefully, it will work out just as good this year!;)

Oh my goodness, you're so close!!! You must be FREAKING out!!

I love all the hidden secrets! I didn't know about the Haunted Mansion one...I'm going to check that one out in May! ;)

Love all the plane activities. My boys are usually so excited they don't do too much....Jonah played with Model Magic on our first trip. That stuff is really great...and perfect for the Easter basket! ::yes::

The Fantasmic news is great! And your crowd numbers look outstanding! :thumbsup2

On to the 10 day countdown!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hey Angie! I'm having internet woes from home and was hoping to see your pics before posting but, oh well, here goes anyway.....

I think, but I'm not sure, I've heard the later show of Fantasmic is less crowded because more people go to the first one... but I'm totally not sure.... Just go with the flow I guess.

The fun finds... (yay :yay: for my PTR!) I didn't know Goofy's statue says "Well Howdy!" :rotfl: I've never been to the statue... I must do it! And I always forget to go see the singing in the rain umbrella!

If you hear Stitch giggle, let me know... 'cause I didn't catch it :upsidedow

Online check-in! Wow! :cool1:

Your trip is coming so fast :cheer2:

I tend to check the accuweather forecast for Orlando pretty much everyday just to see what kind of day it would be at WDW, and when I realized the other day that the extended forecast included the beginning of your trip I was very excited for you...so far your weather looks great :woohoo:

That's a great list of hidden mickeys and fun finds!

I also can't believe this weekend is Easter, its going to be last minute shopping here for sure :rolleyes1 I like the idea of books, I may go with that.

Have a great weekend!
