Update about Toystory Playland :-(

here's a copy of an email I received just now from my travel agent,

Dear valued customer,
We wish to inform you that the following new attractions
• RC Racer
• Zig Zag Spin
• Parachutes Drop
located in the new Toy Story Playland in Disney’s Studios won’t be open until September 2010.
All other New Generation Festival parades and events will be available from 2nd April 2010.

Sorry to those of you expecting them on your visit before then, but good news for those of you going in September

This website is usually pretty spot on and is talking about earlier dates. The grand opening may not be guarunteed until Sept but looks likely bits will be opened before then???? Who really knows!

I would rather they opened the whole of TSP together than in bits and pieces.

Hopefully it will all be open by the time i go in October.

We have decided to go back top our original july dates since toystory land wont be opened but cheyenne is only showing up at 30% off must play around with dates again. When do uk schools finnish up??? want to go b4 then.

23rd July is my DD's first day of her summer school holidays, here in the Midlands. Scottish schools break up at the end of June usually - if you want to go for the Summer season stuff at DLP, I'd suggest you go at the start to avoid the worst of the crowds (ie from 3rd July up until about the 20th). Oh, and Bastille Day (14th July) is apparently usually very busy at DLP, so you might want to avoid that date.

Was looking at the 4th - 9th of july.Didnt realise scottish schools broke up so early hopefully parks wont be too busy the first week.

This is the worst news i have got all year! But didnt the New Generation festivel start before the officail date?maybe the same for TSPL?! I Live in hope!!

We went as soon as our schools broke up last year - last week in June/first week July. It wasn't too busy - but was very hot....so be prepared!

awww I'm really sorry to be the bearer of bad news
but on the bright side............ it's a what we all look for when we're coming home from DLP.... a reason to go back
