Sooooooooo...

Are you with me? Here we go... my last Walt Disney World PTR for a while... Probably a LONG while. Well, we'll see how that really turns out

BUT for dramatic effect, let us say that the Happy Dog and Family's YEAR of DISNEY WORLD is coming to an end.

Yup. :guilty: On June 28th at Midnight, SADLY, our APs will expire...

Okay, okay, okay, before you feel too sorry for me, let me say that we have, without a doubt, used them well and just as they were intended. ::yes::

We managed to get FIVE trips out of these passes, and I really can't complain. According to TGM, we have 82 days until our trip to WDW, so before we embark on our fifth and final trip, I figured I better get this PTR up and running! :yay:

Now, we will be BACK for more Disney fun -- as you can see from my tickers, we have lots of great Disney-inspired fun to look forward to :p -- but indeed this trip to Disney World is a last hurrah for a while. We have LOTS of fun planned for our June 2010 trip, so I hope you will come along and share it with me. :teeth:

The WHO, WHAT, WHERE, and WHEN coming up NEXT!

So excited to see that you have finally started your PTR. I have been checking daily. Can't believe I am the first to respond but am definitely subbing. I know from your prior reports that you do have a couple of DCL cruises already planned so am wondering if you are not going to go to the parks when you are there? Do elaborate.

My kids are out of school for spring break this week. Do you have the same schedule? I also wanted to ask you your advice about our trip in September. We have never driven down and my husband is the only one who drives on long trips. Is it something that can be done in one go? I am sure that with the excitement of getting there, one is willing to put up with A LOT. My concern is the drive back. Am even considering taking the auto train on the way back. What are your thoughts?

Can't believe that Charleston Princess beat me at being the first! Oh well second is not bad either.

HI!!! Welcome! :flower3: Thanks for joining me! Well, what we do WHEN we have our summer 2011 family cruise remains to be seen.... For the February quick cruise, no. We will not be able to get to WDW for that. BUT, Next summer is still up in the air.

Honestly, the drive has not been bad. I had HUGE reservations, but it turned out to be fine. From our house it is a long but not hideously long drive. The Auto train is AWESOME. We loved it. We were going to consider it this summer again, but because we have tacked on days at Vero beach, we decided to go ahead and drive again. Depending on when you leave, the drive can be easy. We do drive at night because the kids sleep, and we do okay with the driving at night, but we have left mid-day and done alright as well, you just want to avoid traffic down 95. The Auto train one-way is a good idea.
