We spent one night there on March 10 and I took a few pics. Thought they might be of interest to someone who's considering staying there. :) It was a nice place and I'd recommend it as long as you have a car or don't mind taking shuttles as it's not on the Strip. In fact, it took us about 15-20 minutes to get there in the evening from the Strip.

We had a room with a Strip view and it was so pretty at night. Very romantic. ;)
It was around $74, but that price probably varies on the weekends or time of year.

Please ignore the date on the pics. Obviously that is wrong. :rotfl:

The desk area with tv:

Two queen beds. Really comfortable!

Floor to ceiling windows, with table and chairs:

Nightstand with radio and cordless phone:

Room entry way on one side and window into bathroom on the other. There is a motorized shade that comes down to allow for privacy, so no worries on having to give a show while in the tub. Unless you want to, that is.
Tub is deep, but not very long (I'm 5'9" and had to bend my knees to fit) and it's rather narrow as well.

Shower. Very roomy, high shower head, good water flow and a bench for.....well, whatever you need a bench in the shower for.

Toiletries:

There is also a tv in the bathroom mirror. It's very cool, but I didn't get a pic of that.

More closet/storage space inside the bathroom.

Evening view. Very pretty! Definitely request a Strip view. Pictures really cannot do it justice. The Strip can be seen in the background, but don't let their advertisements fool you. In some website and magazine pics I've seen, the Strip looks like it's "right there." It's not. You can see it, but it's not as close as they make it seem.

Sorry, I didn't see this post until now. But we did play a little, we aren't big gamblers. My in-laws are though, and they said they liked the casino alright. Kind of small, but nice.

We ate at the Studio B buffet, and it was really good. I'd definitely recommend it even if you aren't a big buffet fan. It was very fresh, good selection, and we aren't drinkers, but I believe that it includes wine. The line was sooooo long though. Hopefully by now some of the newness has worn off and it won't be such a long wait to get into the buffet.

Hope you like it, and make sure to ask for a room on the upper floors with a Strip view. :thumbsup2

Hey....what happened to the pic of you in the tub? :confused3
Ssssshhhh!!!! Don't you remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. :rolleyes1
;)

Thank you very much for the pictures. Especially the ones of the strip. It gives a great perspective of the location of the resort. The hotel websites can often be deceiving on the view!!

The view at night really is something you have to see in person to appreciate. We have had a few rooms with unbelievable views and it is really makes going back to the room worth it!

Thanks again,
Jamie

This really sounds really great and very romantic, I will keep it in mind for my next holiday, thanks for sharing its just a pity that the photo's have been removed it would have been awesome so have seen them:thumbsup2

Would have loved to have seen the pics of the room as we are interested in staying at the M resort this summer (LV is one of our stops during our big summer road trip). There's 7 of us on this big road trip (me, DH, DDs 14 & 11, BIL, SIL, DStep Neice 10). My original thought was to stay at the Trump (non-gambling, non-smoking hotel) but there's only 1 bed + sofa bed in the hotel and we need a hotel room with 2 beds.

You mentioned shuttles to get to the strip. Where does it drop off and pick up?

Is this resort good for kids? Does it have a nice pool?

Thanks in advance!

I have no clue what happened to the pics. So weird. I've looked all through my photobucket albums to see if I could find them and they aren't there. Sorry about that everyone!! If I ever come across them in my online files I will repost them.

We never used the shuttle so I cannot comment on that. I just know they have one.

The pool is nice. With kids though I might look into something on the Strip. We spent one night at the MGM last summer for my twin's birthday (we got two beds and a roll away) and they loved it! We ate dinner at Rainforest Cafe, saw the lions, walked to M&M factory and spent most of the next day in the lazy river.

It's not a non-smoking hotel, but it's really well ventilated. If you can find a good deal there, that would be my choice for a hotel.

We're just back from Vegas ... we had visited The M Resort in December and had signed up for their slot club. I got on their mailing list and had a bunch of coupons sent to me which I was able to redeem during my March trip. I got a free bottle of wine, sport bag (2), etc.

They are really good to their loyal players ... everyone there is really nice! Good drink service at the machines plus they have a help-yourself soft drink station.

We didn't stay there because we had comped rooms on the strip, but it sure looks nice. They were celebrating their 1 year anniversary while we were there.

Pictures were deleted from photobucket, so it'd be more if you still had them somewhere locally? Camera or something?

Any idea how hard it is to get rooms comped?

I definitely agree! They treat their loyal players very well. I too got a lot of free offers, coupons, play money, etc sent to my house. It's always a treat to get free money in the mail. =)

The soft drink station is a nice addition as well for those times where you don't feel like having an alcoholic drink. All-in-all I am very pleased with the service I received and the people I talked to were all very kind. The slot club is totally worth it, especially with all the free comp bonuses and goodies!
