Cheese Ball Yak Attack: 2 kids, 2 dogs, 1200 miles - The Sequel

I can't believe I got on the ride this late into the TR!! This is AWESOME! My cube-buddies are wondering why I'm in the fetal position with tears streaming down my eyes... laughing uncontrollably!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: There are too many one-liners to quote here... but just know that I'm loving it!
Welcome!

"This is how my daddy does it when he's 'crop-dusting'..."

This almost made me fall out of my chair laughing. We have a new leader in the clubhouse! :rotfl2:

This seems to be a recurring theme around the TR board. Hmmm....

:lmao::lmao: He's running from room-to-room with a jar in his hand...

well didnt you guys get my memo???? I told you its raining here and I have plenty of time to hijack I mean read TR's.I dindt get to the Hijacking( I am sure there will be others around shortly :rotfl2::rotfl2:)part yet I was just asking for more.It is only for your own good ,cause you know how thepirate:pirate:pirate:'s can be.

I've got too many swirling around in my head to come up with a clear, concise (and funny as hell) caption for this one, so we'll have a caption contest. Please post your caption(s). A winner will be selected and awarded absolutely nothing.

Well if I am seeing the pictue correctly she is holding her doll.If this is correct then my thoughts are the only thing she could possibly be thinking and saying is:
Lets see now if I stick my fingers in her mouth I could make her yak just like you did in the back seat Evan.:rotfl2:
It does look like fingers going toward dolls mouth and after all Evan does look like he is backing off:rotfl2:

Ah, pulling from the title of the report - always a good way to butter up the judge.
I had to go back to the original picture and zoom in to see exactly what the little girl has. It's actually a cat, but she is petting it's face/ear/neck. Good eye! However, I'm not convinced that Evan would back away from cat yak. But that's another story for another day...

I was up by around 6 on Sunday morning. I'm usually up for work around 4:30, so even on vacation, it's almost impossible for me to sleep in. I'm not sure what Evan's excuse is, but he's an early riser too.
So we decided to get in some play time with the dogs out in the back yard. Both dogs are freaks for tennis balls and will chase them for hours. Evan loves playing too, but his 3 year old arm just doesn't have the strength to throw the ball very far. Pepper sees Evan with the ball, and then looks at me like "come on, you take a turn throwing it. This kid throws like your grandma."
So while Evan and the dogs are playing, I take a few moments to snap some pictures of the lagoon behind the house. There were rumors of alligator sightings at the tail end of our last trip, but Grandma & Grandpa have reported nothing since then.

Looking West. By the end of this trip, the water will have risen close to a foot with all of the rain we'll get.

Looking East

East. After the neighbor's yard, it really opens up with a large island in the middle.

After we played for quite a while, I wanted to go in and get some breakfast. I suggested this to Evan, but he wanted to keep playing. So I suggested to him that we go inside and see if Mommy was still sleeping. He liked that idea, and we went back in. I came around the corner after shutting the door, and find him standing in the hallway, right in front of the open door to the room where Bambi was sleeping. He yelled back at me, as loud as he could, "Look Dad! She's still sleeping!" Not anymore, young man. Not anymore. :thumbsup2

So after a hearty breakfast, it was back out to the pool. Evan abandoned his fishing pole this morning in favor of the broom. A little closer...

A little closer now...

And throw it back in!

Sometimes it's just too far for the broom, so he helps Bambi with the net.

For those of you wondering where Madison was during all this - sleeping. That kid sleeps like a teenager. Noon is a four letter word to that kid.

So that's it for this mini update. The rest of the morning we spent packing up our stuff for the four of us to spend the night at Kidani Village to burn up some unused DVC points. I'll have plenty of pictures of that in my next update.

The back of the inlaws looks like the back of Mel's grandparents house. Mel's GPs stream is much smaller though.

Glad Evan didn't go for a swim... Thought that was where you were going with that! :lmao:

Get my PM? :confused3

moderation I like it it keeps us waiting for more!:thumbsup2 Good job keep em coming, this will also stop that guy from running around saying more, more we want more!

How do i go straight to the last unread post? I keep forgetting what page i was on, 'cause some folks keep adding unrelated movie quotes, and I get lost in the shuffle. With 3 kids, I only have 7 hours a day to myself, and I use 6 of those to sleep.

A nice little update... just enough to keep those pesky hijackers at bay :goodvibes

Arrrr.....

:lmao: as i was scrolling down i was waiting for the splash!!! nice up date!!:thumbsup2

You know, I just realized that I forgot to write about the kids falling into the pool! Each fell in once. Evan on the first afternoon, about 30 minutes after we arrived. The kids were playing near pool, and I had turned my back for a moment to assist Bambi with something. I heard the splash and Madison yelling that Evan fell in the pool. I pulled him out, dried him off, warmed him up and changed his clothes. Lesson learned, right? He never fell in again, but it certainly didn't stop him from playing near the water!
Madison fell in a few days later. I didn't witness it, as Grandpa was watching them.

Yeah, that guys bugs me too!

I'm not sure how you jump to the last unread post. If anyone knows - can you fill us in?
And I wouldn't necessarily classify those quotes and "unrelated". As scattered as my mind usually is, just about anything short of Latin would make total sense in my TR. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Even Latin can fit in if you really want it to, my friend...especially if you throw in a little Mel Brooks

Just wanted to help you out there Barry! pirate:pirate:pirate:
