I thought we could have a thread where we can post any win a trip to Disneyland competitions that we come across.

I've just entered the Woolworths/OMO "Win a Family Trip to Disneyland California" competition today.

You need to purchase any OMO powder or liquid from Woolworths then enter at www.omo.com.au/woolworths with barcode and receipt no#. Entries accepted up to 4/4/10.

Good luck!

Ehsmum thanks so much! Ever since our first and supposedly once in a lifetime family disney holiday in 2007 (followed by 2009) I have entered every Disneyland competition I have found. I figure this is our only chance to get back for a third trip and it's worth a try. Hadn't seen this one as I don't usually shop at woolies. Thanks for the heads up. and good luck to you!:thumbsup2

Ooooh thanks Ehsmum, this may be my only chance to get back there too:rotfl2:. Off to Woollies today.

Great idea.

I guy I work with knows 2 lots of people in Perth and Melbourne that recently won Disneyland trips through the news.com.au websites.

But I'll definately go and get some OMO now (I don't usually use this brand, but anything for a free holiday). ;)

I never buy OMO either but did this time! I got the smallest bottle there was just so I could enter .

Knowing my luck, this will be the one time that I will win and the trip will be in June when I'm already at Disneyland .

There's another one at Woolies - you need to buy 2 packs of Sunrice rice thins. The winner actually gets 2 holidays - one to Disneyland for a family of 4 and one to Hamilton Island (I think, or may be another island) for a couple.

Just giving you the heads up on the OMO/Woollies competition - In the Terms and Conditions it says that the prize can not be taken in school holidays or across public holidays.

Bummer! took the kids out of school last year for what we thought was two weeks and then when we got home had to stay home for another week due to the swine flu ban (ooohhh what a shame!) what a blessing!

Don't dare take them out again this year especially as DD is in year 11.

Oh well guess I will still enter and deal with it if I was soooo lucky!

Thanks for the heads up. Won't rush to woolies now. Will keep hubby plodding away on a surprise trip for September holidays for kids

Oh what a fantastic idea,

We are busy planning and saving for our Christmas Holiday December 2011. I just really wish we could go earlier 2011 feels like for ever away.

I will be off to Woolies first thing and I might even pop out to Penrith and join Panthers. I hear there is a fantastic Steak House restaurant there now.

I will keep my eyes out and post anything I find.

Thanks again for posting this great idea.

We're going for 6 weeks and only 2 are in school holidays so they are missing 4 weeks of school. That's why we're doing it now while they're all still in primary school. My oldest starts high school in 2012 and I doubt we'll take them out of school for any extended periods after that.

I went to Woolworths and the OMO had a Dreamworld ticket offer on the box, nothing about DL. Is this state specific? I'm in Victoria....

That's odd, Mellby. It's definitely Disneyland, California on my entry form and on the OMO link.

I don't think you need the entry form though, if you buy an OMO product and keep the receipt you can just enter online (you need the barcode and Woollies receipt number).

Thanks Ehsmum. When I went shopping tonight, it had a little ad up near the boxes about Disneyland, so all is good. There is still a Dreamworld offer available though.

Thanks for the tip. I'd never have seen this one as I don't normally buy rice crackers and the entry form doesn't say Disneyland on the front. So I've probably walked past it several times, but looked out for it today and have entered :).

For everyone in Melbourne, the door prize at the Travel Expo at the exhibition buildings next weekend is a trip for 2 adults & 2 children to Disneyland, 5 nights accom. and a 5 day hopper pass.

I had a chuckle at the picture they used on the OMO website. Nothing Disneyish about it except for the "cup" :lmao:

Win a trip to Orlando!!! Yes this is open to Aussies!!!
IF DECLARED A WINNER, ENTRANT MUST BE AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL TO ORLANDO, FLORIDA FROM SEPTEMBER 29 - OCTOBER 2. 2010. Prize consists of a four-day, three-night vacation for two to Orlando including round-trip flights, accommodations, ground transportation, event and attraction admission. Contest is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority (whichever is older) in their primary jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.

Be one of 67 people to win a trip to Orlando for World Smile Day

Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau has decided to prove the axiom, “smile and the whole world smiles with you.” The Orlando CVB has launched a global search for 67 smiling people who will win a vacation to Orlando for World Smile Day on Oct. 1. Sixty-seven is the number of days determined to experience the more than 100 attractions Orlando offers.

Winners from around the world will be selected based on written or video submissions sharing how Orlando makes them smile. Whether it’s a memory of a past experience or a dream of one yet to come, no Orlando smile story is too big or small. From braving the fastest roller coaster or hitting a hole in one to volunteering to help others, celebrating a 50th anniversary or dreaming of hugging a favorite character, all smile stories are welcome.

Orlando Smile Ambassadors Kyle Post and Stacey Doornbos (pictured above), best friends from New York City who won last fall’s worldwide search to spend 67 days of smiles in Orlando enjoying all that the destination offers, will lead this new search for the 67 people.

Kyle and Stacey officially kick-off Orlando’s World Smile Search in New York City on Friday. They will visit cities throughout North America, the U.K. and Europe through Sept. 6 to encourage smile story submissions.

“I love watching people smile when they talk about Orlando – whether they have ever been here or not. Orlando smiles are created by unique and distinctive experiences that cannot be duplicated anywhere else in the world,” said Gary Sain, president and CEO of the Orlando CVB. “Smiling faces inspired the theme of our worldwide marketing campaign, ‘Orlando Makes Me Smile.’ We thought it would be fun for people to share what it is about the destination that personally brings that smile to their face and then bring people from around the world together to share an authentic Orlando smile experience.”

Along the way, the Smile Ambassadors also seek to raise $16,750 for the non-profit organization Smile Train, the amount needed to provide 67 smile surgeries for children with cleft lips and cleft palates.

“We are thrilled to be part of such a fun and worthwhile campaign,” said DeLois Greenwood, vice president of Smile Train. “We are so grateful to the Orlando CVB for supporting Smile Train. So many people take for granted the simple act of smiling – something the children that we help are unable to do. For only $250 and in less than 45 minutes, Smile Train truly gives children a second chance at life.”

Smile story entries may be submitted now through Sept. 6, 2010 at VisitOrlando.com/smile.
In addition to the official rules and prize details, the site also features the submitted smile stories, Kyle and Stacey’s smile search activities and links to make a donation to Smile Train.

Fans of Orlando’s World Smile Search can follow real time updates on Twitter at Twitter.com/SmileSearch or on Facebook at Facebook.com/VisitOrlando.

There was a competition to win a trip to Disneyland/San Diego on Funniest Home Videos tonight. It was with FHV and Bulla Dairy. It was just a SMS or ring the 1900 number. I didn't get the numbers to ring though.

Was wondering if anyone else saw it and got the numbers? It's not on FHV or Bulla website :worship:
