HI everyone,

my family is going to coco key indoor water park overnight next week. Just wondering for those whom have done indoor water parks, do u change when u get their and put your cloths in a locker? what do u pack in ur bag to leave out? towels, snacks etc? do u wear just a coverup to eat lunch - is it warm enough? any other suggestions - what about shoes - do u just wear your sneakers or water shoes just seems like lots to pack..

thanx

We've been to the GWL many times, and we just put on suits and cover-ups in the room, use their towels, and pack some water and snacks in a beach bag. Warning - sometimes it is very hard to find a chair to put it on if you aren't there first thing. I just wear flip flops, and it's usually warm enough to walk around in just a suit.

Hey we're going to stay overnight at our CoCo Keys next week too! Our school is having a fundraiser there and we're off the next day so we decided to take advantage of it!

We had dd's birthday party at CoCo Key and it is warm! I would bring shorts or bathing suit/cover up. At our CoCo Keys the food areas are right in the waterpark so just a cover up would be fine. I wear flip flops too.

Have fun.

I'm going to the Mt. Laurel one - friday to saturday - which one r u going to?

OMG Mt. Laurel one - Thursday to Friday!

Maybe I'll see you there on Friday - our package has waterpark tickets for the day after the fundraiser (Thursday). It will be me (blonde, short woman) with 2 dds (12 and 11) and ds (9). I'll have a tinkerbelle tote!

Just a few families! Friday should be a pretty quiet day.

Hope to see you there.

Are you all planning to still be at the water park after you check out? We just went to GWL last weekend and did that. I had everything we would need to change into for the ride home in smaller bags that went into the locker and put all of the other bags in the car when we checked out. I had our clothes, a hair dryer, and shoes in the smaller bags. Have fun!!

I was there over Xmas break.

What I liked about Coco Key is that you can bring in a small cooler for drinks/snacks. I had brought a wrap for lunch for myself as the food court menu is quite limited. We changed in our room and had cover ups on. Bring plenty of beach towels, theirs are so small and the kids use them constantly! I had so many wet towels!

The food court is right in the water park. If you're staying in the hotel there's no need to use the locker. I had all my stuff on my stroller in a beach bag. My boys stayed in one spot and I was able to watch them while keeping an eye on my stroller.

It's a nice size waterpark. I felt it was perfect for kids under 10.

We are indoor waterpark goers! We went 12 times in the past year!We pack our change of clothes inside a big plastic bag and then into a beach bag!Your clothes will stay dry that way!

The Coco Key here doesn't allow outside food.

And make sure you bring towels they no longer provide them.

It was plenty warm enough there!

Our CoCo Keys doesn't allow outside food either.

Does anyone know if the Mt. Laurel one still provides towels?

I always bring our own but for the fundraiser I was telling people that they provided towels (they did when we were there in October). Does anyone know if they still have them - or will I be running up a new flyers quickly telling people to bring their own towels?

thanks everyone..

i am staying at the hotel, just not sure my room will be ready when we arrive, as we want to arrive about 10a.

I guess if its not ready, we will just change into our suits there - though its soppose to be warm so maybe we can run in w/our cover-ups.....

i will definitly bring towels, just hope the are dry for the next day...or i guess i can just bring extra...

we wil probably buy lunch at the food court then go out for dinner...

I was there in Dec and they had towels, but they were very small and never dried out. I'd get 4 per day and had to change them constantly. But my boys used a towel every second they got out of the water :rotfl2: I had brought one beach towel from home that held up much better than theirs. I'd bring more beach towels next time.

I had a very small cooler with juice boxes and water for my boys. No one ever said a thing to me about it. Many parents with children had small coolers. I just slipped a chicken wrap in it from a deli from home and ate it by the kiddie pool. No one said a thing to me. You can certainly bring snacks and other small items with you. I did not find the staff strict at all.

Make sure to purchase your locker before you enter the waterpark. You have to sign up at the water park desk.
