Changed H&V dinner to Kona

I originally had a 5:30 reservation for the H&V dinner, followed by plans to see Fantasmic at 8:30. Now that they have added a 10:00 show, I switched our dinner to Kona at 5:45 with plans to catch the bus over to DHS after dinner for the show. Do you think this will work out? I was also considering dinner at the GF cafe but we are staying at the Poly so thought it might be easier to eat onsite.

All thoughts/feedback are most welcome!

I think this was a great idea on your part (H&V is one of two Disney restaurants they could not pay us to eat at again). I've read rave reviews on Kona and a 5:45 ressie gives you plenty of time to get back to the Studios for the 10:00 show.

I think you made a great move. We have eaten at both and I would take Kona over H&V anytime. Also, I think you will have time to get back for the 10 oclock show.

Based on food quality, you made an excellent decision as Kona is vastly better than H&V.

Great Change.

Excellent move. IMHO, Kona is a much better restaurant and we also prefer the 10:00PM Fantasmic show. Not only is it much easier to get into, but it is darker and more enjoyable.

In fact, for our trip in August/September we are not planning for Fantasmic at 8:30. If they add a 10:00PM show we will go, otherwise we won't bother.

Hi suse66,
I think you made a great decision. Kona is excellent and you left yourself plenty of time to get back to the studios. Have a great trip.
