We all hear about the consistent favorites: School Bread, Mickey Bars, Dole Whips, Tonga Toast, etc. etc. etc. But what are the things that you love that don't often show up on the lists of must eat treats or dishes in The World?

Mine are:
The fresh pineapple spears at Aloha Isle (NOM. Much better than Dole Whip to me)
The Peach oolong tea slushie at the Joy of Tea stand in China @Epcot
The Tempura Shrimp Udon at Yakitori House in Japan @Epcot (but it was winter...)

What are your great hidden treasures?

I definitely wouldn't say that this is only something I know about, but another must have item for us that doesn't always get a lot of attention are the frozen drink slushies from Goofy's Candy co. We will go to DTD just for those slushies and they are a snack credit which makes it even better.

I love the cheese plate from the bakery in Epcot's France. I get it "to go" and take back to the resort for a snack on the balcony!

DH says his favorite are the sugar roasted pecans from the snack carts!

I love the idea of this thread!:cool1:

Mine would have to be these::idea:

Filet @ The Wave
Creamy Indulgence @ The Wave
Vanilla Milkshake @ The Wave
Chocolate Milkshake @ The Wave
Bread And Butter @ The Wave

Get my point...:confused3

I'm crazy about The Wave!:banana::banana::banana:

hmmm Chai Creme at Saana

Bread Service at Saana

Key Lime Moose at Flame Tree ( usually gets flames but I love it )

Mac and Cheese at Le Cellier

Roasted Pecans ( everywhere)

Vanilla Cupcakes at POR

Make Your Own Salad at POR * I always get extra edamames*

ooooh I forgot Mango Pie at Yak and Yeti ( scrumptious!)

it is a boring selection, but I really enjoy the fresh fruit that I can get at table service restaurants. It is always so fresh and sweet.

I fell in love with the Kona Salad at Kona Cafe when I toured the monorail resorts my last trip. It was amazing. I'm not a big pear fan, which were in the salad, but I loved them in the salad. But it may have been the yummy citrus dressing that was on it (it may have been a vinagrette, but I can't recall). I may have to make a side trip to get one this trip!

Lets see...the sticky toffee pudding at Raglan Road, the spinach and artichoke dip at Sci Fi :lovestruc, and "The Original" at California Grill.

I do like the pineapple/ vanilla swirl dole whip. I also like the juice at the Ohana breakfast. The cinnamon rolls at Princess Breakfast at Akershus.

Yes, the pineapple/vanilla swirl is delicious! I never tried the straight pineapple and don't think I ever will! Looking forward to my pineapple/vanilla swirl(s?) in July!

I love the spicy chicken and chipotle sausage appetizer at Le Cellier! It comes with polenta that is out of this world!

There is a turtle-like chocolate treat at Goofy's that I love.
Breakfast bread at WPE.
Butternut squash soup at WPE.
Chocolate Gelato at BC Marketplace.
Chocolate Shake at Seashore Sweets.
Napolean at France Bakery.

I could keep going...

These are great so far! I love that there are so many things to try...I've added "The Wave" to my list for sure and am thinking of others...

Keep 'em coming!

This doesn't fall under snack, but I love the Ribeye at Whispering Canyon. No one ever comments on this dish there. It is the most tender and tasty steaks I have ever had....and I am a beef foodie...lol :rotfl2:

I would say for a snack, the chocolate covered marshmellows at Goofy's is the bomb!!

I am obsessed with the creme brulee from both the boulangerie and chefs de france... i dream about it until we go back.

I am also thinking fondly of the cold soba noodles at 1900 PF.

Loved the warm mulled wine from Germany last holiday season.

I looked for those darned spiced nuts this year and could not find them for some reason!?!?
