Just curioscan you book Cat 6 /Cabin 6154 on the Wonder. I like the balcony, but it may be a handicap room. Does anyone know?
Yes, it is a handicap-accessible cabin. Unless you have a medical need, you probably can't book a HA cabin until close to sailing date - if any are still available.
My mom and I were in 6654 on our first Disney cruise in 2008. The cabin as well as the balcony were HUGE, but they were a LONG distance from the nearest elevator. I thought they were very inconveniently located for someone with mobility issues.
I believe it is a structural reason why the boat ha solid walls at the front and back of the boat. Also the HA rooms are at the front or back of the boat in order to accommodate the size of the rooms as not to take away from the regular # of staterooms available.
There are some oceaniview Family rooms but I believe the HA balcony rooms are still at back of boat and are solid walls on the DReam
