2. If you are staying on DVC points, you can only book AKV Concierge at Jambo House which consists of five two bedroom lockoff villas and they go fast at 11 months out to members who own at AKL. Those rooms were turned over to DVC when DVC took over part of Jambo House. The views are not that great and at least one of them is handicap accessible.

Or you can use points at the YC, GF or Polynesian in Concierge (but it takes a whole lot of points to do this).

None of the other DVC villas have access to concierge level.

3. In order to get club level, you must book club level. You cannot book non-club level and get club level access.

I meant if you just book a room, not a suite, can you get club level, is it something that is added for a price, or is the price is just included in the room price. So, by a club level room, do you mean that all the deluxes have some regular rooms and some club level rooms, or are all the rooms the same, but some people have added the club level option?? And, the price difference would obviously reflect that?

Yes, some of the deluxe resorts have conceirge (club) level rooms and non-club level rooms. Club level access is connected to the room you reserve. Not all the rooms are the same.

For example, at the GF, there are two buildings that are club level - the main building which has it's club level lounge on the second floor (if I remember correctly) and the Sugarloaf building (which has it's lounge on the first floor). None of the other buildings at GF have club level access.

Club level accommodations provide an additional level of service on top of what is normally included. Pre-arrival, itinerary planning is available to help plan your stay by arranging dining and recreational activities. Once at the resort, a dedicated concierge desk for the guests staying in the club level can assist with front desk and concierge related tasks and is available 7am - 10pm daily (the service offered at these desks is not dissimilar to lobby concierge, and they don't have any more pull than anyone else to get you into extremely busy and popular restaurants).

A concierge lounge is also available during the same hours with continental breakfast in the morning, snacks through the afternoon and hot hors d' oeuvres in the evening finishing off each day with desserts and cordials. Soft drinks are available throughout the day, while alcohol is available later on during PM service in the lounge. The lounge is furnished with seating and television(s), and also has a selection of board games and movies to borrow.

The rooms are the same as other rooms in the resort of your choosing for the exception of the addition of a DVD player. As noted, a collection of DVD movies is available to borrow at the lounges.

More info in the club level thread referenced above.

2. Can you get club level at villas?

Select villas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House are located on the club level, and are noted as such when booking. Otherwise, no.

3. Can you get club level if you don't stay in a stay in a suite? Is it something you can add onto a reg room pkg?

Guest rooms are available on the club levels at Walt Disney World resorts, but club level accommodations are booked as specific categories and are physically separated from other guest areas (either a separate floor or building). They are key accessed, and no, it's not possible to just pay for access to these amenities. You must have a club room (doesn't necessarily need to be a suite) to take advantage of these offerings. Club level is not a package addition (like the dining plan or park hopper options), but rather a specific room type that must be reserved - one that is priced higher than standard rooms.

Yes, you can get a CL room at all the deluxes. I can tell you about the ones I've stayed at (all this info is for rooms, not suites):

Poly -- all club level rooms are located in the Hawaii building. Garden, Lagoon, and TPV available. All the rooms are the same, just the view is different.

AKL -- all club level rooms are located on the 4th floor facing the Arusha savanna. There are a few villas (6th floor) that are CL -- only AKL has this.

GF -- as PP mentioned, 2 levels, one in main building one in Sugar Loaf.

YC & BC -- all CL rooms are up on the 5th floor.

Hope this helps!:goodvibes

Don't forget there are two different types of Club Level floors at the Contemporary.

There is the 12th floor which is called the Atrium Club which are all standard rooms, plus you choose between the Magic Kingdom View or Bay Lake View when making a reservation. Obviously the Magic Kingdom View is more expensive, even though all the rooms and services up there are the same.

Finally there is the 14th floor which is called the Tower Club. Unlike the 12th floor there are only a total of 16 rooms, 5 of which are standard rooms and the rest are various suites. Even though both floors offer the same services and etc, the standard rooms on the 14th floor are more expensive then ones on the 12th floor. Also unlike the 12th floor on the 14th floor you can not look down or see anything on the 4th floor because it's all enclosed.

I have tons of pics of the AKL CL in my Oct 08 thread and of the Poly CL in my Nov 09 thread

For us it is the room location and the free food that make CL worth it for us but only if I can get it at a 40% off room discount

Thanks for the link...also, do people usually get the ddp when they stay club level?

the snacks in the lounge are by no means a full lunch or dinner (at least not to us) we do eat breakfast there every morning but we use the evening snacks as an appetizer before we go to our dinner reservation!
so yes, DP for us

We get the DDP, too. We eat breakfast in the lounge, lunch at CS, supper at TS, and then some snacks here and there in the lounge. During our "down day," we will have afternoon snacks in the lounge. If we get back to the room before 10pm, we will get desserts to take back to the room.

My family and I never purchase the DDP because we don't like making ADR's 180 days before we arrive and we are never hungry after eating the food offerings that are served from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

We are staying at YC CL for the first time in May and we got DDP. I can't think of going to Disney with out DDP. We just made our ADR last week and we go in 8 weeks so you don't have to make them 180 inadvance of going. I got all the places we wanted to eat at. Only one wasn't the time I wanted but it's an hour later, no big deal.

It really depends. Many people do, many people don't. For my family, it would be WAY too much food and more expensive than just paying OOP. Just depends on where and how much food you order.;)

If we're staying Club Level, we don't do the DDP. Too much food for us.

We get the regular dining plan so we can eat lunch when out at the parks and so we can have several nice sit down dinners. In my opinion CL is great for drinks and snacks but it doesn't make a meal (except for breakfast). When we don't stay CL then we do the DxDP.
