For all of those who have done back to back and maybe back to back to back to back....

What is the longest consecutive days that you have been onboard one of the Disney cruise ships or any cruise ship for that matter.

What was your experience?

14 nights, first PC Eastbound cruise in 2005 on he Magic

My longest cruise was 14 nights on a Celebrity Transatlantic. It wasn't the typical TA itinerary with 6-7 sea days in a row. Instead it sailed around the British Isles to Iceland, then crossed to Newfoundland, Canada and ended in Bayonne, NJ. The most sea days in a row were 2, and I loved it.

Disney Magic 15 nights WBPC May 2008.

Consecutive nights on ship (not in port) - 5 on the same cruise.

:cutie:

Just curious...how do they mix up the dinners on those long cruises? Do you end up having the same menu at some point or are they good about a different one every night?

14 night EB Panama cruise in 2005. At the time we had 3 kids...5, 7 and 8. We would have been happy to stay on even longer. Once our twins (2 1/2) are old enough for the clubs, we hope to do a long itinerary again.

I think you have everyone beat with your upcoming cruise Right?!!;)

14 nights for us, but many have done 25! Trans-Atlantic + first med = 25.

On 14 night cruise, we had a different dinner menu each night. We had the basic 7 interspersed with different themed nights...each with a beautiful menu, some level of server costumes, etc.

Magic --- 15 night WB --- first Disney cruise -- we are sooooo spoiled now!! :rotfl:

Our next will be the same cruise on the Wonder -- Jan 2011 -- I'm soooooooo looking forward to it

We did the 11-Night Southern Caribbean on the Wonder in 2006. That was just incredible. For Dining, they just had different theme nights. They did not do "the show" in Animator's Palate each night. I remember doing a Mickey Mouse Club night there one night. Everyone got buttons for it. Great fun.

We will be breaking our "record" with the 14-Night Westbound Transatlantic in September. Our first trip on the Magic, too. Can....Not....Wait!!! :rotfl:

So far I guess tied with kcashner. All of my friends don't believe me about how amazing DCL is. They think we are TOTALLY crazy for being on ship for 25 nights. We are so excited about it. That is why I wanted to see what others thought.

So at the end were you so ready to run off the ship and not look at a boat for awhile?!?!?!? Or were all 25 as magical as always?!?!?!

I think I am going to be just as sad at the end of the 25 nights as we are after a 7 or 14 night cruise. I know after the last EB TA I cried when it was over. I could have stayed longer.

In a perfect world I would rather do the Med then the TA but that did not work out for us.

Thanks for the input!!!

You and your family are very lucky to be getting to sail for 25 nights!! Hopefully when I'm out of college I can sail on a back 2 back and have a long vacation on the cruise. I've only been on 4 night sailings so far and I'm sooooo sad when having to leave the ship, I wish I could stay there FOREVER!!!

Have fun, hopefully you will do a trip report so we can see how much fun you had.

You misread kcashner's post. She said 14 nights for her, but mentioned others had done 25 nights.

We've done 21 days twice. The last west coast and first EB PC in 2005. Then did a b2b2b with an alternate itinery eastern-western-eastern in 2004 I think.

Had booked a b2b2b for the first med cruise which would have been 35 days I think but we had to cancel last minute because of a job move.
