I am trying to decide which would be best, crowds wise. For about the same cost of going to CBR in August I can go to Pop in June. I was wondering what you would thing would be best for crowds? It is just going to be me and my three girls and was just wondering which would be best. We are doing the dining both times.

You're going to have more crowds in June because you have a greater amount of school kids off in June than in the middle of August. However, you will have the free dining crowds in the middle of August. The FD bounceback begins August 15th and the predicted general public FD might also start 8-15.

We go in August every year and even though it's very hot and rainy, it's less crowded than June and July. Many schools have started back in the South and West in late July and early August.

As long as you've made your ADRs, I would go in August, even if you're there during FD. Just absolutely make sure you have ADRs for your table service meals:)

I agree. The heat won't be that different from June to August, but the crowds will be better (less) in August. I would pick August, too! If you can, I would go with the week after Free Dining begins (not the week that Free Dining begins).

I would also stick with August. We have been in June twice and I can tell you, the heat wave they had last June during the first 9 days of our visit was intense! June can see some pretty miserable temps too. So if you can spend the same money for a moderate, go in August and get lower crowds as well.

F:sick::sick::sick:or the heat factor alone JUNE. July and August are not fit for man or beast.

We have always gone in August, the heat is unbearable sometimes but the lines are shorter due to schools beginning in August in many states. Besides, even though it is hot, June isn't much cooler, with the lines being shorter you get back into air conditioning sooner! :rotfl:

Have a great time!

We would leave around the 16th of June.

By the middle of June, its going to be hot. Maybe not quite to the point of August hot, but close enough I can't imagine it would be enough cooler to justfiy the higher crowds and prices of August.

In 2008 our dates were May 23 to June 7. Each day as the trip progressed it got hotter.

In 2009, our dates were June 12th to the 27th. It was horribly hot the first nine or ten nights in particular. I have been to WDW in August and it was not as bad as our June trip last year.

We chose June because "supposedly" the humidity is not as intense as August. We can deal with heat, but humidity just ruined our vacation last year.

August also has many more foreign language speaking guests, which CAN interfere with enjoyment at the crowd participation shows, like Laugh Floor, Country Bears, anything that depends on a story and/or spoken dialogue.

We don't like to eat that much in the parks, so Free Dining doesn't matter to us - that could make a difference in your decision, though.
