Theme for Summer Outdoor Bday Party (Adults & Kids): Disney World

Want to make/buy food that can be found @ WDW.
  • Bought The Mickey Shape Pasta @ WDW will make Mac N Cheese as in Chef Mickey's
  • Hot Dogs will be MK's Casey's Corner Hot Daogs
  • Heard Costco sells Mickey Shape Chicken Nuggets. I have yet to find. Does WDW have Mickey Shape Chicken Nuggets? Which restaurant?
Wants to use some Disney recipes. What do you suggest?
Thinking of trying O'Hanna's Bread Pudding.

Want food for summer. Think soups are out. Want a recipe from different WDW restaurants. What food comes to mind when you think of WDW?
Also, must be budget friendly.

I have time but I like to plan ahead. And buy items when are on sale.

Want to know your MUST-HAVE food at WDW. Food that reminds of WDW or you can only have @ WDW.

When I make the food for the party, I want people to feel like they are in WDW. Please let me know MUST-HAVE foods.

Thanks.

My Dh's is a Sundae from Auntie Gravities- vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce, they also have fudge sundaes and orange, prange pinapple, and 1 more type of smoothies. You could do Dole Whips as they are a more well known WDW treat.

I would look at the list of recipes available here in the sticky - it is by course and restaurant so you can add in what you would like- you could do O'hanna meat skewers on the grill.

Most definately a Disney item.

Disney is the only place I have seen them. It would be an item I would try to make, if I like them.

That is the kind of food that I'm thinking about. Items that make you think of WDW. Like Dole Whips and Mickey shape Rice Krispies treats.

Deserts are easier to think of. I need whole complete meal list of Disney Inspired food. Like Cobb Salad from the Brown Derby and Mac and Cheese (w/ Mickey shape Pasta) from Chef Mickey.

Thanks for your ideas. Any more?

allears.net they have all sorts of WDW recipes.

You can use a MM cookie cutter to cut rice krispie treats into MM shapes (do this while they are still warm, you could also add a popsicle stick).

Take a half a gallon of ice cream open carton all the way and slice ice cream. Cut out with MM cookie cutter. Slide in popsicle stick. Place on cookie sheet and place back in freezer. After a bit melt some chocolate and dip!

I love the strawberry soup at the Grand Floridian! You could serve it as smoothie instead. I have the recipe if you want. (I ate so much of it they gave me the recipe.)

I will keep thinking of ideas for you!

Chocolate covered frozen bananas !
If you have a Trader Joe's near you they sell them, if not they are very easy to make with magic shell, just freeze the bananas first. I make them half size, or in slices as a whole banana is a little much to eat.

Also Figero Fries are very easy and a huge hit every time I make them.
I know the recipe is on here and on Allears but if you don't find it let me know and I'll get it from home and send it to you.

Where in WDW do you get the Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas?

I planning to put signs next to all the foods.
(Naming the items and the restuarants)

Thanks.

Ice Cream carts.
It's been my favorite WDW snack since my first
