title says it all.... yes my name is polynesianalex but im wondering if its worth changing it up this time.

I like both resorts. It depends on what mood I am in at the moment. :rotfl2:

Seriously I don't know if I can choose they each offer their own special elements.

I voted for GF. :) Yes, I love the Poly, but I figure if you stay at the GF and write up another TR with pics, then I'll know if I want to stay there or not. :teeth:

(Hey - it worked for me when you stayed at BWI! :))

We decided the same thing this year but it was more leaning towards GF. We stayed there last year and were thinking of staying at the poly for a change but we like the GF so much that we decided not to change.
Personally I think if you like the Poly so much I would just stay there again and visit the GF.

I think if you haven't tried GF yet it isn't a bad time to do so, especially with all of the discount codes that are available right now.

The thing about these two resorts is the theme are very different and set the tone of the feel-attitude of the resort. You can easy travel to and from each by the path, monorail or water launch.

With your username PolynesianAlex it is hard to say go try the GF. Based upon what you said they would both be garden views, so I would probably lean toward the PR, since it is laid back, prefer the tropical landscaping, location and in our opinion better views.

We LOVE the Poly too and have stayed there the last couple of trips.

However, I want to try so many more resorts, so we're opting to try the GF next September. I figure if we don't like it (which I can't imagine) we can always return to our beloved Poly on the next trip. We're also planning on visiting the Poly for meals.

Sooo, I chose the GF for you, just so you don't get stuck in a rut. :)

We've stayed at the Poly twice a year now for 10 years. We finally decided to go to the GF last October. I was disappointed. While the rooms were pretty, they didn't have the character of the Poly rooms. It just looked like any other pretty hotel. Even though it's the Flagship I think it is lacking in a whimsical theme. The quick service at the GF was appalling. From the service to the food to the loud and obnoxious game room in there. We are happily going back to the Poly in Sept. :D
