They should make the bus driver walk the bus before leaving to see if ieverything is SAFE and acceptible before departure!

Makes me laugh. This has always been a pet peeve of mine.If I am driving in my car with no seatbelt I can get a ticket.Yet buses can pack you in like sardines, standing room only, and law enforcement has no problem with this. If I crash in my car with no belt is one person getting hurt,if a bus crashes how many get hurt???? am I missing something???

**Thinking of another thread on this page**

I was just wondering about something....

Any man who has the ability to stand (in otherwords, no other reason-disability, etc..) on a Disney bus, yet remains seated while a female passenger remains standing or a mother holds a child while standing and does not offer her the seat should be tied to a rope and dragged behind said bus...

Just my .02, take it for what it's worth, but I refuse to believe in this entitlement attitude that seems so pervasive....

Yeah, I know I got there first and that's the way it goes...so forth and so on...

But my mom would be the one tying me to the rope if I ever sat while someone had to stand like that...

Now, if you CAN'T stand---that's different...

Maybe it's just me...

This always gets my goat as well. I can't stand to see able bodied young men / men sitting while you see a family get on the bus and mom and dad are trying to balance a 5 yo and a 3 yo while standing, or an older couple fighting to hang on.
:sad2::sad2::sad2:

I see we are on the same wavelength, must be for the fact we both went to the Old School!:thumbsup2

Man Law No Dis Dad will sit in seat while a woman ,child or elderly person stands on bus exception unless their is to many people between you to offer the seat( example I'm in back and woman in front of bus and 15 people standing in between.) or holding child

Amen to that! On our recent trip, my 11 year old kept offering his seat to any women, and even a few able bodied men. Definitely to the older generation. My 14 year old just refused to take a seat in the first place. Anytime I wasn't sitting with my DD, I too gave up my seat. I can certainly stand on a bus for 15-20 mins so that the moms & grandmas can have a seat... it really steams me to see so many selfish guys out there. Their moms are probably either ashamed at the way they've turned out, or just plain out of their mind for having not trained them all accordingly in the first place, but then I say their dads too. Common courtesy and chivalry seem to have flown out the windows.

Way to go:thumbsup2 I saw that , your bar bill might be a different story:rotfl2::rotfl2::scared1:

I go Wed. to get mine done. Sending my son to private school so that should burn alot of it. The lottery, AC, quarters & the ponies will pay for the trip. (haven't let me down yet) If I'm going to play might as well have it pay for something worth wild!:thumbsup2

Fed- say you pull over someone in a Toyota that has been recalled doing 105 would they be able to to get off in court saying the gas pedal was stuck:lmao::confused3

Nah, think bigger! Kitchen Sinks at Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club!

Misc%20011.jpg

For those that aren't familiar, here is the description:
Kitchen Sink - Eight Scoops of Ice Cream served with all the Toppings in the house and a whole can of Whipped Cream $21.99
Yep, the Kitchen Sink with a Dole Whip Float chaser! :thumbsup2

Now that I am thinking of it.I think I have come up with agame plan for one evening at the BW. Start off in the world showcase and get me a big fat turkey leg. Then head over to Beaches and Cream and get me a kitchen sink. Then cap it of with a few beers at the Zone!!! Sounds like a good plan. After doing this might even get some kind of man law out of it :lmao:
:thumbsup2

I always give up my seat and I have arthritic knees. That sometimes makes the bus rides tough, especially if there are a lot of jerky stops and turns, but I still can't sit while a woman or elderly person stands.

If there is one thing I can do and do good is eat :thumbsup2 I was in Peoria, Illinois for a business trip one yr and we went to a steakhouse. They had this steak deal where if you eat the whole plate you get your meal free.Well I really didn't want to look like a pig,but after a little coaxing from the guys I was with I went for it.They give you 1 hr to eat the steak, full baked potato, thick piece of garlic toast, salad. The steak didnt fit the plate it overlapped it and they even had to cut a piece off and stack it on top.Well I put the whole meal down in 31 minutes, got my free meal ,tshirt and picture on the wall. After dinner we went to bar for a few drinks and I odered more food to go with the beer.Lets just say the rest of the trip I was known as many different names ( all related to eating).
I think I saw this place on Man vs Food!

have pity on us in the uk.....i go to bed and when i wake up i have a small novel to work through....and then i think "yeh i have something to say about that "but then you get on about something else and the first thing goes out of my mind......i need to start staying up at night :surfweb:I'm still thinking about the curling.....

now as for the bus dis dad man law i couldn't agree more... but i read a post on here before and so many people said that if they were on the bus first then it was their seat and if the moms with kids or older people wanted to sit then they should get to the bust stop quicker...or wait for the next one as they come very often...sorry but it just ain't the Disney way...

i didn't even know they did the kitchen sinks so that will be on my list of new things to do in October and has any one eaten the 24 ounce porterhouse steak at the yacht club....we just don't do steaks that big in the UK and i was going to give it a try...any tips would be gratefully rec.

now i got to wait 8 hours for a reply hahaha

and one that I can't figure out for the life of me why our good friends to the south never jumped all over.....the robertson screw (the square head) :confused3

About six months after I moved down south I had my father pick me up just about every size available for the workshop.

The best is when you've got your favorite 40 pound bag of flour slung over one shoulder and a bunch of bags in the other and you get the family of six (you know the ones that look constantly pissed off that you wonder "why are you here in the first place") who each have their own seat and refuse to have any of the kids sit on their laps even though they're all under 5y/o.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

:headache::headache::lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It could have been worse, the group was almost named The Federlines.
Uh Oh, looks like we have a dancer down!

Fed did a little target practice, one got hit by Accident:lmao: He will be back dancing in no time, he was wearing his vest.:woohoo:

I'm still thinking about the curling.....

Would you like me to sing O Canada for you....:lmao:

You need to wear some sweat pants or pants with an elastic waist, chew slowly and don't eat anything else on your plate until the steak is done, no need to fill up on potatoes or vegetables.:thumbsup2

Good luck!!
