That's a lot of booze.

Have you tried to find phone numbers for nearby liquor stores, to see what it would cost to buy 'directly' instead of through them?

I just like the idea of the challenge and the fact they will roll the cart to my room. I think it might be a nice adventure. I'd love to know if anyone else has done this.

Let me know which room you're in... sounds like a PAR-TAY!

Posted this in another thread wanted to see if anyone here has done it before. Found out CSR offer's a "full bar" room service option. between 10-15 bottles of liquor, case of beer, ice and mixing accessories. I cannot remember how much they said it was but, think it was between 458-600 bucks. I'm going to go for it I think. Anyone done this before? Should I do it.

:woohoo:

Now that's just insane!

I know I could not believe it myself !! Trying to find it listed online somewhere for exact price and details. They requested 24 hr advance notice so I wil have to let em know Thursday. I plan on taking lots of pics if I do this.

I am not sure me and you are on the same page here.

What do you mean? I think it poses an interesting challenge.

I would think the intent of that offer, were a convention of 30 - 50 people.

I am not so confident it was meant for 1 person.

I am the last person to complain about drinking at WDW, I am all for a good stroll aorund epcot with some Margartias, Beer, and Sake...

But 15 bottles, and a case of beer, that just sounds stupid and irresponsible.

I've seen this at all full service hotels. It's for meetings in a hospitality room or suite, not meant for one person! Just like the appetizer platters. You could order drinks from room service individually every night cheaper.

Garden Grocer delivers all that stuff way cheaper - you're paying about three times the normal price getting it from the hospitality menu. It's just that to use a hospitality room you are usually required to order alcohol from the hotel, as it's not allowed to be brought in. For an individual's room, I'd definitely just order what you want from Garden Grocer.

What?!?!

Are you telling me I was supposed to share that 60-shrimp platter???

No. Way!!!

When are you going to be there? We're going to be at CSR 3/5-3/13. Maybe we'll swing by for a drink :goodvibes
