Here is the plan.
2 adults, 3 kids (age 9,6,4 yrs)
May 29-June 8 (10 nights)

Desire split stay at POR and Ft Wilderness Cabins
Need atleast 7 day BASE tickets (will be going to Sea World and enjoying resorts the other days)
Desire Basic Dining Plan for atleast 7 days, but open to using gift cards for food options, souvenirs, and resort extracurriculars instead

I have the Alice Code 30/35/40% for up to June 12.

What are your suggestions for optimizing value using the PIN code and/or the gift card general public offers??? We realize that we would need to purchase a 1 day pass to make the 2nd ressie a package and would be fine saving that for next time if the savings over all are worth it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The least expensive upfront seems to be the PIN code on both ressies, but the best value overall seems to be the gift card for both ressies as we would leave with a 1 day pass for 5 people and whatever was left on the 2 gift cards for the next trip. Hmmmm....

Oh, and the cabins are listed with moderates for resort descriptions but deluxes for season rates?!?!?! So would I get a 35% or a 40% off for those??? Thanks!!!

The least expensive choice for now would be the 35% off. It is $4,654.69 for all ten nights, 7 day passes, and dining plan. You would also have a one day pass for later use from your second reservation.
The GC promo, would be $6,695.51 for all ten nights, dining plan for first 5 nights, 7 day ticket. Then you would have a 5 day pass left for later use. You could use 1 $500 GC to eat with during your second reservation, and keep the second one for later use.

Or, you Stay at POR for the first 5 nts. with the GC promo, buy the dining plan and 7 day tickets, then you stay at Cabins for next five nts. with the 35% off promo. Use the $500 GC from first reservation fro food for the second reservation. Total is $4,010! This is what I would do.

:thumbsup2 Good job! I recommend the last one as well. I've seen that if you are going more than 5 days, the split stay, with the first half on the GC, and the second half on a % discount is the best thing to do.

Also, you can get ONLY a 5 day base ticket on the first half, and upgrade it to a 7 day, and pay with the GC if you so choose. Saves a few more bucks up front.
