I'm waitin' on my pickle peeps! This is a continuation of Pickle I and II threads and a way to keep in touch because Facebook isn't a venue for chitchat. Everyone is welcome.

Awww, Kat. Put those tears away!! It's a wonderful day of treasured memories that you will always have and will continue to build on each and every day. You will have a lovely drive with your honey, holding hands, sipping coffee and chitchatting about your day. Once in a while you'll glance out the window and a warm smile will come over you as you reminisce about all those tournaments, meetings, fund raisers, hotel stays, nursed injuries, the valiant wins and the disappointing losses. Today is the turning of a new page in Mark's life... where he begins to follow in yours and Mark's footsteps. What shoes he has to fill! And he will, because he has learned from the best. Yes, a silent tear or two may fall, but I know you will both find yourself beaming with pride for the wonderful treasure that is your son.
I love you and will be smiling with you.
Just you wait until you get to do it all over with grandbabies!! In several years, of course. Woot!
Chocolate Chip????
Hi Pickles, I've missed you all!!!!!
Thanks for re-starting this, Tracy!!!
Kathy, good luck this morning, and good luck to Mark in his tournament!!!
I have off work today for President's day. The kids SHOULD go back to school tomorrow, but we are supposed to get another 6-8 inches of snow overnight. Last Tues. was their last day in school. For the sake of my sanity, I NEED them to go back. It was extremely hard to work last week with "I'm bored. There's nothing to do."
Oh now you've gone and done it. Now I need the better picker up paper towels for the tears. Thank you for the sweet words, sweetie. They mean the world to me. Love you too.

Gosh, I didn't mean to make ya cry. I wanted to make you smile.
"Bounty ... the quicker picker upper, starring Kathy S. Folks, this is a true testimony. If our paper towels can pick up this crying fool's puddles, they will pick up ANYTHING. Get yours today for the low price of a buck 99."
Can I be your agent?
Mark's not even my kid, and I'm crying with that too!!! They grow up too fast, don't they???Oh now you've gone and done it. Now I need the better picker up paper towels for the tears. Thank you for the sweet words, sweetie. They mean the world to me. Love you too.
Actually, I'd rather have Thin Mints, but I thought you all didn't get those up north. Thin Mints, please!Yay!! She found us. SO happy. Chocolate chip?! WHAT?! Thin mints are out now. What is wrong with you!?!?!
Awesome that you have today off. I imagine that it's hard to get any work done with them in the house driving you bonkers. We are expecting some snow later in the week, but man, have you guys ever been dumped on. You've had more snow than we have in a season. It's crazy. I will ask the weather wizard to cut it out so they can go back to school and you can regain partial brain function.

We've missed you.
I'm sorry about your snow. I don't complain about ours anymore after I saw the effects of the snow out East--ouch! And I'm sorry the kids are driving you batty. It is a story like yours that makes me glad mine aren't young anymore (although there are days, like today with wrestling coming to an end, that I miss them).
You can be my agent any time, any day! And I did smile through the tears.

Is it possible to regain partial brain function???I thought I lost my mind years ago, but this week has just made it worse!!!
Dude. Of course we have Thin Mints way up here in the frozen tundra. I hear Kari has a boatload of them... perhaps I should have her send you some since it would cost me more than my phone bill to ship them to you.
No joke. Friday was my mommy's birthday. Last Monday I went to the post office to see what an 8 1/2 x 12 envelope would cost to have it there by Friday. My two options were: within 5 or 6 days - $2.00. Within 4 or 5 days... $40.00!! No, that is not an extra zero. I called my mommy and told her how much I loved her and that her package might be a day late.
