A first non-DCL cruise I would book...

 I was not even aware of cruises of such magnitude. Wow.

I know, I didn't either until a few weeks ago until I was searching Panama Canal cruises on a travel agency site. I just put in Panama as the criteria and to my surprise, cruises of 60+ days popped up. I started researching further and found other cruises in the 80+ day. WOW is right!!!

OMG, talk about the trip of a lifetime! Pretty much hits everywhere in the Pacific I'd love to go to.

I guess I need to play the lottery more...

Sayhello

Yeah, I guess if you had LOTS of money, were retired (imagine being able to miss that much work), had someone to look after kids, animals, house, didn't mind being away from family & friends for so long, oh and of course did not mind traveling continuously for a few months... could be lots of fun. :rotfl2:

Intriguing, none-the-less.

I don't think I'd book even a 7-night cruise on Regent, let alone a 103-night cruise!

i saw one a few days back that was 333 days!!! you'd have to book an outside room, imagine 333 days in an inside shoebox!!

I was on the Princess Cruise line site the other day...and sae that they offer around the world cruise....about 107 days total..starting in Fl, through the Panama Canal...over to Australia, Indo China, Middle east, Africa, ending in Europe. Inside cabins starting at $21494.00

wow..what a cruise that would be.:woohoo: Small ship though...not sure if I would want to do an ocean crossing on that small a ship:scared1:

That's why most of the people on these cruises are rich old people.

I would LOVE to do it.

Small ship, might be a little scary out in the open sea....but awesome ports!!!

Why? :confused3 I've never heard much about them, so I'm curious. It is a smaller ship so that might be a little scary (like I said above) but I bet the service is wonderful.

I'm sure Regent is great - but I'm too cheap to pay for a luxury cruise line!

Ahhhh, to be rich and old :rotfl2:

Definitely interesting cruises, that is for sure.

Ahhh...this is dream time, though...you know, like when we win the lottery or retire from our million-dollar-a-year jobs. :rotfl:

Our town sits right next to a town that's basically a retirement town for the very, very wealthy. I can't tell you how many times a day I pass someone (me in my Mini Cooper) driving a Jag, Mercedes, even a Maserati yesterday....driving 10 miles under the speed limit....gripping the wheel with a death grip.....and look like they have one foot in the grave. I always think it's sad to waste such hot cars on the old. :sad2:

In all fairness though, I WILL be there myself someday. But I won't have a hot car.:sad1:
