Sounds like you guys had a nice day, sleeping in a bit, eating at Beaches & Cream.

I'm glad the rain didn't totally ruined the Christmas party & I'm glad the stroller poncho suggestion came in handy!

I can't believe that was your last night! It seems like things were going fairly smoothly with you & Josh at that point. I hope it continues...

I also hope you got to see Holiday Wishes & the weather cooperated for you to enjoy the rest of the party.

Beaches & Cream was fun for all of us. Thank goodness you suggested the poncho for the stroller or it would have been soaked. Josh stuck to Bill like glue.

I'm so glad that your last day went so smoothly! We always try to just sleep in, relax, and go with the flow at least one day when we're there. Those are great pictures from the boat and the ferry! And that is a GREAT picture of the castle with the Christmas lights. I always tear up when I see it.

What a great and busy day you guys had. I can't believe how empty Beaches and Cream was; that place is usually packed to the max.

I love the picture of Hannah on the Carousel, you can see the Disney joy on her face. This was an amazing gift you gave those children; a memory of a lifetime.

So glad a little rain didn't stop you from enjoy the party. It wouldn't be a vacation to WDW without a little rain. I noticed Josh had a black poncho; that would be the only way I could get my son to wear one.

I was surprised at how empty Beaches & Cream was too. I think the kids gave us much more than we gave them. Their love and acceptance of Bill was the best gift I could have have received.

Great trip report! I love the photo of Bill with the Up characters. It's a great picture of a great guy! At least, I think that is Bill in amongst the characters.

Christian at it all, ate some of the onion rings, and all of his Peanut Butter sundae. I had said something the night before about Christian bouncing off the walls because he had consumed a lot of chocolate. They listened to me and he didn't have any that day and he was so much more focused.

We were leaving the theater and saw everyone pulling ponchos out. Oh NO rain again. Even Josh said he would wear a poncho:

Hey Tracy I finally got a chance to get caught up and I've been spending this rainy/snowy Saturday thoroughly enjoying your trip report.

Despite some tense moments, it looks like a very special trip. Seeing the smiles on Hannah's and Christian's faces must have made all of the arguments worth it.

Hi Carissa. It was a very special trip. Hannah and Christian are so precious to us. I adore Abbey and even though there were issues with Josh he is my son and I love him. All the arguements were worth it just to see the kids loving WDW.

I love that you went to Beaches and Cream....we loved it in 2008!

We really enjoyed our time and B&C.

It had stopped raining and it was time to head to the hub for the fireworks. Can you believe there was no “why do we have to do this?” from anyone. Here are some pictures:

They loved the fireworks, it was a wonderful as I remembered it. We hung out in the hub for a bit waiting for the crowd to thin, since we were headed to Liberty Square for a spot for the parade. Hannah was a little wet don’t you think?

I always carry ponchos with us , we have to have them because Bill would freeze if he got soaked and the rain could hurt the wheelchair.

I love the palm tree pictures, and I can't think of a better reason to put up pictures than just wanting to see them again.

It is so nice to see the pictures of the boat ride. It enables us to be on the boat riding along where we are warm and happy and in Disney World instead of in the middle of this long, cold winter back at home.

Everyone was hungry by this point and we thought we would go to Cosmic Ray’s. On the way I had to take yet another picture of the Castle. I think I could just sit and stare at it:

We walked into Cosmic Ray’s and they were not serving food. There was a dance party going on though and Hannah got to see Pluto. She danced with him but I didn’t see it because I was in the potty. We decided to try Casey’s, Bill and I had never eaten here. Everyone was a little bit hungry:

We started walking toward the entrance and none of us seemed to want to leave. They went to smoke and Bill and I just looked around trying to take it all in.

They met back up with us and Hannah was trying to playfully tell Bill what to do, we were all laughing at her:

We took the bus back to Pop and I think we all passed out.

Next up…our last day in Disney
