Arrrg! Can't find a Wii Fit!

I bought a Wii back in December but didn't get a Wii Fit at the time because I knew we had a Disney trip coming up at the end of December and didn't really have the extra for the balance board. The Wii Fit Plus was about $87 delivered from Amazon. Flash forward to the first week of January and you can't touch the Wii Fit Plus for anything under list price of $99. I wait, hoping that the price will come down a bit. WRONG! It's now February and I am willing to pay the $99 for it and the darn thing is SOLD OUT everywhere! Amazon, Overstock, Target, Sears, Wal*Mart, Costco, Game Stop. You name it, it's sold out.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Try Bestbuy.com. I haven't tried to get a wii fit yet (saving the money for it as we speak) but did need a wii in January for a gift. I was shocked! It was no problem getting one in December but no one in town had them in January and didn't have much hope of getting one any time soon!

Anyway, I went online to bestbuy.com the day before I was to give the gift (I had decided that I would get a gift card that day if I couldn't find one) and they had a wii there. I ordered it online and the gift receiver got it in about 4 days. No store in town as received even one wii yet.

Give it a try and if they don't have it one day, go back online the next day.

good luck.

Oh wow - Who would think. I thought they were easy to find now. It always figures, that is the story of my life. Good luck - sending you good vibes to help you find it :)

Same here, we drove around the other day an ended up getting the active. Used the active for an hour this morning and liked it, good workout.

I also looked at Best Buy online and no-go. I know that all the stores will be flooded with the darn things so enough but I am motivated NOW!

The list price is $99 and those scalpers want $169 plus shipping. I think I'll wait.

Oh, I had no idea what list was. Yeah, I'd either wait or try to find a used on on Craigslist or eBay. There are a lot of those things that were bought with good intentions and used once, much like some people's January gym memberships.

Check Best Buy everyday, including in store pickup. We ended up getting it 3 weeks ago after checking since before the first of the year. We did the in store pick up and picked it up the next day. No shipping, just a quick trip to the store.

However, how is it that a video game came be so condescending? When it was evaluating me, it made my little Mii so fat! And then it shook it's little head. I was all, "Screw you, Wii Fit!" LOL

I had the same problem and kept checking Walmart's website to see when local stores got one in. I lucked up last Sunday night and our Walmart got some. I went the next morning and got the last one:goodvibes I love it. Keep checking Walmarts website. When it shows in stock, go get it right then, do not wait. They told me they sell out very fast.

Goodness, I had no idea they had gotten so rare. I had no trouble finding the original Wii Fit and then got Plus at Gamestop after the holidays with no problem. You might want to consider Sports Active, which can be used with the balance board but doesn't require it. It's actually a better (more structured, more focused on exercise) weight loss tool than Wii Fit, although I do like both.
